DryFly Rain Tarp... so freaking awesome. Set-up was straight-forward. It comes with everything you need (lines and stakes). Cheers to whomever thought of lines with built in reflection... great at night when you are approaching your hammock to avoid tripping. I really like the way that you can either block wind or (if it is warmer) can channel the wind over your hammock depending on the direction that you set the rain fly up (assuming multiple trees are an option). Combined with a JungleNest Hammock (hammock + mosquito netting) you are completely set. Set for rain or warmer weather. Haven’t experienced the cold yet, but I would imagine the Rain Fly would help keep cold winds and snow off your hammock. Happy camping!

Great product. Serves multiple purposes for me. Camping, I use it for a vestibule with my tent or a cover for the hammock. At home I use it daily in nice weather. It makes a great sunshade for the back deck. This purchase was my second. As the one I originally have was going on 10 years and super faded. I now have that one in my emergency bag. I like knots so I took off the little hooks and use them in the garage for something else. The new one is a bit bigger than the old one. It catches the wind more. 15 mph winds areabout all I can comfortable with. Rips stop material hold up well. I have set up on the deck down to 30 seconds or so.

I bought the tarp as part of a whole system (with a hammock and bug net) for backpacking and was pleased with not only the ease of setup, but also the amount of area it covers. It will be able to work as a stand-alone tarp for other applications.

Teaching grandson to set everything up for camping trip at the end of the month. He loves it and so do I. The whole setup is simplified. The hammock, net and dry fly are well made of quality material. I would recommend it to anyone.

Love this tarp! Extremely easy setup without needing any knots. During my trip, we got a severe thunderstorm and the process of getting the tarp from it's open and shallow angle to a steep angle was surprising quick. Once set up for the rain storm, I had full coverage for myself and my gear underneath. Couldn't recommend enough.

I haven't yet tested out the tarp in rainy conditions, however, the night I took it camping, winds hit up to 20mph. It was pretty noisy, kind of like a regular tent flapping, but the ropes and guy lines stayed tight, and the tarp kept the wind off of me, so I stayed pretty warm. Set up was easy, and the guy lines are laced with reflective material, so they shine under flashlights and you don't risk tripping and getting tangled in them in the dark.

It's a little heavier than I'd hoped, but does a great job of keeping the hammock dry. I set it up and left it it overnight in a thunderstorm and the hammock, bug net, and under blanket came away as dry as if I'd left them inside

This is everything I expected from this tarp. It has a huge coverage area and is very flexible how you want to hang it. I have used it in thunderstorms with my Eno Hammock and stayed as dry as a bug in a rug all night. I highly recommend the Dry Fly to everyone.
