Bought this bed for my 16-year-old sonâhe was thrilled, but setup was a nightmare. It took 6 hours due to misaligned holes; even with help, we struggled. My husband had to drill four new holes in the footboard just to make it work. Thankfully, he's handy, or we would've returned it. It's frustrating to modify something that should be ready to assemble. On the plus side, the metal frame feels sturdy, and the LED lights are a hit. My son especially loves the built-in plugs in the headboard. Overall, great features but poor manufacturing quality control.
