This has been such a blessing with getting my son who is disabled to use a straw and drink more independently. I am very pleased with this product (and, frankly, everything from this company that I've tried).

Our kiddos OT told us we needed to use a straw cup instead of a sippy cup. Most straw cups designed for small kiddos do not have a lid and many straw cups with a lid option had straws that were too wide for our little one to handle. This lid fits perfectly on the elk and friends metal mason jars. So lid, plus perfect sized straw, plus fitting the metal mason jars = perfect for daycare! We have ordered a few things from here now and NEVER been disappointed. It's not just the variety of tops that they have it's that when they offer a top it's of high quality and has high functionality. Also if their is EVER an issue with an order (rare) they make getting it sorted a breeze!

The straw and straw lid are both too bendy/flexible. I have trouble getting the contents in the jar up through the straw because if I suck too hard the straw flattens together. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I've been trying to use this for a couple months and get annoyed with it every time.

Excellent, very useful execution of a good idea! Makes re-purposing mason jars easy, sustainable, safe (limiting plastic exposure), environmentally friendly. Added a jar jacket to help keep liquids cold.

So it has stood the test of young boy. Dropped on its side multiple times with no leak and no breakage. Highly recommend as a replacement for plastic straw cups for kids.

Kids love them. Am a bit concerned about . of lid tab, very skinny. Also, made for quart jar - as straw is very long. Put in pint jars, work pretty well even with long straw. Didn't have a need to test spillage. Overall, it's not a bad purchase.

My 21 month old loves using his sippy straw lid with a small jar and a silicone sleeve. He can open and close it himself. With a small jar it's not too heavy for him. I trimmed the straw to fit. It's easy to clean. Very happy!

I think this might be good except, there wasn’t a straw that lead’s into the jar, how are kids supposed to drink from it, tip up and hope something comes out. A regular plastic straw fits through it but that defeats the purpose of this, am I right or wrong?

I love these pop up straw tops and use them daily for myself and my 4 year old. The ease of popping a mason jar in the dishwasher means I wash my water bottle daily. When the lid is closed gently and completely, it's leak proof. My complaint is that it's easy to press the lid a little too hard and it pops into the jar. I would like to see a version 2 that's made of thicker silicone that kind of locks into the metal ring, like the oil cruet pour lid. This current version I dont trust in a bag because if it tips and any pressure is applied, it'll dump. I'd also like to see the inner straw sold as a replacement, maybe by the foot? So I can have several to use in different size mason jars and for different beverages! Overall I love these and will buy more as needed, but there's definitely room for improvement!

The product is sound! Fits perfectly and did not leak even when aggressively shaken upside down. So for me, and adult, it’s a win! We originally explored these options for alternatives to plastic sippy cups. My 4 year old poked the lid down in the mason jar and couldn’t get it back up. Might not be an issue for other kids, but if your kid is a fidgeter, might want to stick with the other types of lids.

My husband likes it overall. He does have a dislike about the texture of the rubber mouth piece that pops up. It just takes getting used to. Over all it is an A++++
