This color took more effort than I expected. These pics are three coats, in different lighting. The first two are my office lighting. The finish wasn’t as shiny as I expected so I added the high shine top coat in the other two pics, which made a huge difference! Lessons learned are to use very thin coats, because I glooped it up in a few places. Two coats looked sickly on my nails but three is a nice brownish plum (not cherry). I knew this polish was sheer— I’ve used other nail veils — but with such a dark color, I would prefer it to be more opaque. In certain lighting, I can see through my nail tips. I like it, but a crème would achieve this look easier.

I got Cherry Cola, and I love it! It’s a nice subtle and unique addition to my polish collection. It’s a tad more on the cola side than the cherry side, but it’s very pretty. One coat is sheer and subtle, two coats is a glossy jelly, and three coats is practically opaque. I can kind of see why people are complaining about uneven application, but honestly I think it goes on just like it does in the video. This is a sheer polish, literally advertised as a hint of color, so if you’re looking for perfect coverage this may not be the polish for you. The lighter color Nail Veils are much more forgiving. I have a single coat of Kur Illuminating Nail Concealer in Pink on underneath, which probably helps with evenness. So I definitely suggest a base coat, and to make sure the brush is loaded with enough polish to apply in as few strokes as possible.

I want to start by saying I love the Londontown kur nail illuminators and top coat so much! I bought another veil color and didn’t love it awhile back but with fall here the cherry cola looked intriguing. It is not. As with the other nail veil I purchase the color is very uneven .

Idk what's wrong with the consistency. I try to do a light first layer but it dries so quickly that it doesn't cover the full nail and by the time I'm trying to get other spots on my nail (still on the first layer) it has coagulated on the nail and doesn't look good at all. If instead of a thin first layer I go at it with the brush full of the polish then it actually does manage to coat most of the nail but it is very splotchy and doesn't coat the nail evenly. Leaves streaks and the color pools in spots on the nail making it look very blotchy. When I lift the brush out of the bottle there is long wispy strands of the nail polish that comes out and just hangs off the brush. I really wanted to love this. The color is lovely just the consistency of the polish itself is not good.

I have other Lakur, Concealer and Nail Veil colors and enjoy them all, but this one is mostly a miss. The color has the potential to be so stunning, and it looks OK viewed at a distance, but it is giving uneven and streaky vibes. I have applied it twice now, and with today's attempt, I did a third coat, but still looks like I just did a terrible polish job. Again, that color could be amazing...

I just received my first Londontown kit and I’m loving it. My nails haven’t looked this good in months due to using dip nail applications. Gorgeous color. Now just hope it wears a week.

I don’t like this at all. The color is a washed out burgundy that in some lights appears brown. Also, it doesn’t glide on like I thought that it would, and the coverage isn’t good. Way too shear. I wasn’t expecting this. Probably won’t wear again and I definitely won’t purchase it ever again.

I love the sheer splash of color. The other nail veils are too sheer and light for me, because I have yellow staining from darker polishes, but this covers it up nicely for me without being high maintenance. I'm definitely going to be stocking up on this one!

Really disappointed. This is not the colour advertised for #10. I really dislike the colour, it is purple not Cherry at all, no pinkish hue like it the photo. Phot is two coats but even one coat was a very purple/blue hue.

I was extremely disappointed with the #10 cherry cola nail veil. I’ve been seeing ads for this product for weeks on social media and finally decided to try it. The ads feature a warm mauve tone with a variety of intensity based on layers of the polish and on a variety of skin tones. Unfortunately, as soon as I tried it, I discovered the polish was not only much darker and uneven than it looked in the ads, but it’s also much more purple/blue. The ads show a much warmer pinky color. I imagine this is lighting but it feels so dishonest to misrepresent the color. I tried one coat, two coats and three coats and none of them looked anything like the ads. It’s a totally different shade. I am a huge fan of other products by Londontown, but I felt like this one missed the mark.

The color marketed is not the color sent. Rather than a cherry cola color the polish actually goes on a dark purple more like grape soda. Attaching the photo I took with the marketing materials. I’ve already written asking for a refund with the only response being I’d have to pay shipping which makes it not worth the trouble. VERY disappointed. I’ll probably continue to buy the pink nail veil but won’t try anything else from you.
