The sandalwood cedar scent is a nice relaxing herbal scent, absolutely love and would like to see this scent mixed with lavender for laundry sheets, so nice. However, I can smell the powder dispersing into the air when opening and pouring into the drum which causes to trigger my asthma with a coughing fit and have to use this with a mask on. Would prefer if they made this into a sheet instead, less plastic and space saver too as it can be heavy to use. Also, i don't know if it was the design of the shirts or the powder but 1 of my graphic painted tank tops that I have had for years with no issue, a spot of the design came off when I used this. And in that same load a graphic sweatshirt which is a recent purchase and have already washed 5 times with another detergent a spot also came off too and both shirts were in laundry delicate bags. So this might not be best if washing anything with painted graphics on it no matter how long or short you have had the item. My other graphic painted shirts in that same load the paint all of a sudden felt tacky but no damage, items i have had for years and recent ones, and i wash in cold water especially darks so they shouldn't feel tacky as they never had. Best to wash those separately without this. And there is no warning about this issue on the packaging so I didn't know until it happened. Molly Suds might want to test this issue out with this item to see if a warning label about graphics should be added to the packaging.

I can use the light version no problem, but every time I use the dark version I break out in hives. I reached out to ask what the different ingredients were and were told this one has unrefined sea salt and “natural cedar & sandalwood fragrance”. I recently learned “natural fragrance” is another way for companies to hide shady ingredients and judging by my hives that seems to be what they are doing. So disappointed.

As someone who only wears black and struggles with severe eczema and artificially scented products, I had struggled to find any mainstream products to suit all my needs. This detergent solves all that, I use it with the liquid detergent from Molly’s Suds and my clothes come out softer, cleaner, and richer in color than ever before. Can also confirm that it will not ruin any bright colors or white clothing if they get mixed into your wash. Definitely recommend!
