This is the first pair of overalls I have ever bought, and I knew I was going to love these as soon as I stuck my leg into them to try them on. The fit is amzing; I am 5'7" and hover around 195-200 lbs., and with a 30" inseam, the sizing is perfect. They are form fitting; no bulging or sagging around the abdomen and hips. The material did smell a little funky when I opened the bag so I washed them, and they did not draw up at all. They are sturdy and seem to be well made; these are going to be my gardening wear. It is so nice to find a company that understands real women need functional clothes for actual outside work. I would definitely recommend this business.

I bought these at a store in North Carolina that was selling this particular color for half price. I was willing to take a chance on how they would feel outside the store, and bought them. I am so glad I did because they are amazing to wear. They move with me, no matter what I’m doing, and though I have to take them down to go to the bathroom, it’s not a big deal. I love that they should last a long time. I’m on the website to purchase another pair and I’m willing to pay full price because they are that good. I wish they had them in more colors.

I’ve been on the hunt for overalls for a few years and I’m happy to report these fit perfect! I’m 5’1 about 112 pounds. I ordered the Size 2 with 28inch inseam and the fit like a glove. I got soo many compliments on them and they’re so comfy! A++ Wish you all had a storefront. I’m local to Portland.

I would have gotten thermal bibs but I don’t like the drop seat feature. (too bulky). Also the knee darts (articulated) don’t fit me (kneeling I hit the lower dart). In general, I could use simpler styles. Some of the pockets are great but in general there are too many do-dads. Go plain!

these are the second overalls I've purchased from dovetail. My last ones live on, even after years of wear - only have been passed onto a friend. I sized down one size (post baby weight) and am loving the gray color I ordered this time. The fabric is sturdy but not rough, the fit is perfect, a bit snug initially but after a bit of movement they are perfect and still hug my curves comfortably. I'm a long slender lady so being able to get the fit and length I need is SO appreciated!

Dovetail makes the first overalls I truly love to wear! The fit is amazing and the elastic straps are perfect for comfort working on the farm and riding. Easy to sit in without the crotch being tight like most overalls; none of that with these. Excellent product! Love, love, love them!

I bought these overalls spring of 2025 for my job as a ski lift mechanic, and for the first few weeks of owning them, I would’ve given 5/5 stars. The design and construction of these overalls is more professional than any other work pant I’ve owned, men’s or women’s. They’re both flattering and functional. It is now late Oct 2025, and the upper inner thighs on both legs (high chafe zone for us thick thighed gals) have holes. I wore these overalls every other week this summer, so I really put them through the wringer. I guess I’d hoped they’d last a couple years, but then again they aren’t as stiff as men’s Carhartts (which is what makes them so comfortable, flattering, and functional). All this considered, I definitely still recommend these! One thing to be aware of is that the sizing of these is different from other Dovetail pants. In the black Britt Utility, I wear a 10x34 and they fit comfortably. I ended up buying these in 12x34, and they feel just a tad restrictive (the exchange process was super smooth though!). I’m 5’8, 175 lbs, waist 35.5 hips 41.

I have 3 pairs of Freshleys and they are the best! I own 3 other brands of overalls, but Dovetail Freshleys are my absolute favorite. They are high quality, fit great and made for working women. I work on a farm and wear overalls just about every day. I'm 5'7", 160 lbs and wear a size 8.

These look great, have plenty of pockets, and seem like they will never rip or fray. I am usually a size 12 but had to go up a size (return was quick and easy) because the abdomen area is a little tight- not a problem when upright but when squatting and bending it felt constricting. A little stretch in the fabric might have been nice but that is probably why these are so durable. Love the pockets, reinforced knees with kneepad holder, and adjustable straps.

But it doesn't matter given I use them for work haha that's not the most important thing for me, but know some care. Fit is great for me and comfortable! Super soft and comfy fabric! Size is true. Enough features I don't need to drag my tool bag along or make trips back n forth to the Ranger. Definitely recommend! ... Did I mention how comfortable they are? ;-)

Positove, yet critical review Firstly, the cut is great. These are by far my best fitting bibs. They are flexible and comfortable and the fabric seems durable. They *look* the best out of all the pants and bobs I have. That's where my concern comes in. The material is unexpectedly heavy. I work in steam tunnels and mech rooms. I can see the material really heating me up and weighing me down. Other brands' canvass material is preferable to this. I can totally seeing this be a winter favorite however. Or perhaps where I have events that I need to look "work professional" If the John Deere collab was available I think I'd have preferred those. Finally, on functionality, I wish the bin pocket zipped as opposed to the snap button style. And I wish they had a hip tool loop to keep my keys on. Pockets could have been a bit deeper too.
