The single hoops are perfect! I got those for my daughter as her 24/7 earrings. She's an athlete so they fit tight to her ear and are still cute! I got the double for my nose and the hinge is next to impossible to open and close. Once I did finally get it in, using sanitized pliers, it was very uncomfortable. There isn't enough post and my piercing was severely irritated within hours. I wasn't able to even leave it in for 24 hrs. Getting it out was painful to say the least due to the hinge issues. Single highly recommend. Double - save your money.
