Okay so, this product works SUPER well. you have to apply a few layers and/or reapply it every few days because it chips off but that is with almost any nail polish. It has this bitter taste to it that kind of absorbs into your tongue? for a little. Really gives you that signal to STOP biting. It isn't too nasty though, like I am not gagging from the taste. Just a subtle "hey.. don't do that". The product also gives you a little layer on your nails so if you have brittle and thin nails like me, it helps. Do NOT suck your fingers if they are saucy, you'll regret it every time. use a napkin or wash your hands. i know, i am gross. oh and if you have an animal that likes to lick, don't forget that they can't lick ur nails. it won't harm them but they will taste it too. anyways, really great product! i recommend pairing it with some cuticle oils or something if you have a problem biting you skin around the nails too or if you pick. it helped me a lot as well.

I picked this up at CVS since nothing else has ever worked to stop my nail biting and wow, this stuff is no joke. The taste is absolutely awful (like battery acid or what I imagine pepper spray tastes like), and it genuinely scared me out of biting my nails. It worked not just consciously, but subconsciously too. My nails have grown out, and even when I don’t have the polish on, the thought of biting them now actually repulses me. Highly effective, if you’re serious about quitting the habit.

I tried everything for many years to get my child to stop thumb sucking. My child at age 7 was still sucking his thumb. I was desperate and the only thing I had not tried was this. The only thing the dentist said they don’t feel comfortable recommending and advise against it. It worked in ONE DAY!

Trying to get my daughter to stop sucking her thumb. Pediatrician recommended this kind of polish. She definitely did not like the taste but continued to suck her thumb. Did not last longer than a day. I used it myself. It's Definitely an ugly taste.

I love this nail polish. It tastes awful which is exactly what I need as a chronic nail biter. I tend to chew my nails as a stress reliever or sometimes just rest them at the front of my mouth and then eventually chew them. I have been trying to break that habit for years now and nothing has seemed to work. But this is a life saver! I love that it tastes terrible, no matter how many times I wash my hands. Hopefully this will help me break my nail biting habit for good and I can start to see healthy, strong, long nails soon.

This really worked on me, i have been bitting my nails since i was a little girl...i am 46. It worked on my 10yr old and my husband. It did NOT work on the 7yr old. She is just more determine to suck on her delicious thumb. And I am just more determine that she have a beautiful smile. Thanks
