I have been searching for pumice stone that doesn't quickly disintegrate and crumbled to the bottom of the pool as I scrub at the water line on the tile. Your pumice stone is great! Much more durable and doesn't scratch the tile. I believe you can offer this item to a whole new market share - Pool owners!! Thank you!

Natural Pumice Stones for Airway Buffing Wheels
NOTE: This product is shipped by weight and may vary in quantity and appearance. The item weight selected reflects the minimum weight that will be sent. The amount received may weigh more.
These Natural Pumice Stones are used during the final stages of polishing to enhance the shine left by your “finishing” Airway Buffing Wheel and polishing compound.
Weights: 0.5lbs or 1.5lbs
Why use a pumice stone instead of a rake?
A pumice stone is less aggressive than a conventional rake, helping reduce stray fibers from the edge of your finishing buffing wheel.
Fewer stray fibers means fewer hash lines on your polished metal and a deeper, more lustrous final shine. Pumice is ideal for soft, untreated flannel or cotton buffs.
Buffing wheel rakes are best used on stiffer, treated airway wheels. For soft finishing buffs, pumice helps maintain edge integrity while boosting finish quality.

How to use the Pumice Stone:
Hold the pumice stone firmly and press it gently against the rotating buffing wheel. Always position yourself and the machine safely in case anything comes loose.

Using a pumice stone to rake a buffing wheel is a method to clean and resurface the wheel, especially when it’s loaded with old compound or metal residue. Here’s how to do it safely and effectively: ⸻ ✅ Steps to Use a Pumice Stone to Rake a Buffing Wheel: 1.	Safety First: •	Wear safety goggles, a dust mask, and gloves. •	Make sure your buffing machine is securely mounted and spinning at the proper speed (not too fast). 2.	Hold the Pumice Stone Firmly: •	Use a solid grip with both hands or secure it to a handle if possible. •	Keep the stone at a slight angle to the wheel’s face. 3.	Apply to Spinning Wheel: •	Turn on the buffing wheel. •	Gently press the pumice stone against the wheel surface. •	Apply light to moderate pressure—let the spinning motion do the work. 4.	Move Across the Wheel: •	Slowly move the stone side to side across the wheel’s face to evenly clean or “rake” it. •	You’ll see the residue and caked compound get stripped off. 5.	Stop When Fluffy: •	Continue until the wheel looks refreshed, “fluffed up,” and no longer has visible hardened compound or black residue. ⸻ 🧽 Why Use Pumice Stone? •	It’s a milder alternative to metal rakes. •	Ideal for softer wheels like flannel or cotton. •	Helps keep the wheel clean, cool, and effective, especially for finishing passes. #metalpolishing #metalpolish #detailing #trucks #trucking #metalpolisher @Kris

These Natural Pumice Stones for Airway Buffing Wheels are meant to be used during the final stages of polishing to enhance the shine left by your "finishing" Airway Buffing Wheels and polishing compound. Why should you use a Pumice Stone on your Airway Buffing Wheels instead of a rake? Using a natural pumice stone on your finishing wheel will help to lessen stray fibers from the edge of your finishing buff. Compared to a conventional buffing wheel rake, the pumice stone is less aggressive on the relatively soft fibers of a finishing wheel and will create less stray fibers on the edge of the buffing wheel. Less of these stray fibers will contribute to less hash lines, thus creating a deeper shine and a more lustrous finish on your polished metal projects. A buffing wheel rake would be more suited for use on the harder, treated fabric of our other Airway Buffing Wheels. @Clean Culture MDS
