I bought this with my last order, hoping for some improvement in my hair density on my head, like the Lash & Brow serum has helped *immensely* with my brows. IS THERE ANYONE *REAL* DOING REVIEWS OF THIS PRODUCT THAT (1) DIDN’T RECEIVE A “COMPLIMENTARY” BOTTLE FOR REVIEWS AND (2) DIDN’T GIVE IT 5 STARS OH SO COINCIDENTALLY 100% OF THE TIME? I note that as of this evening, the serum is sold out. I wonder if the reviews like mine mean it’s been REMOVED FROM THE SHELVES. Because **THIS** (SEE PHOTOS) LADIES & GENTLEMEN, IS WHAT IT DID TO MY WIDOW’S PEAKS AND TOP FRONT OF MY HEAD: hair loss (to a great extent) and a still-expanding painful boil (infected boil? I’m going to the dr tomorrow to find out). I used 2 drops in those three areas each for 3 days. First my widow’s peak started to thin EVEN MORE, hair falling out in the shower the next morning (I wash my hair every day with Prose — which I’ve used for more than 7 years with nothing but good effects AND thicker than ever hair, even at middle age — AND NO, I HAE NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING COMPLIMENTARY NOR ANY MONIES FROM PROSE TO PROMOTE THEIR PRODUCTS). On the third day the boil appeared, huge and full-blown and PAINFUL. It bleeds constantly. On day 3 a large chunk of hair around the boil fell out as I was washing my hair. This is now 4 days AFTER stopping those few drops of serum once per day in those 3 small areas, and the boil is still growing, painful, bleeding. Tomorrow (it’s been a holiday weekend) I go to a clinic to have it examined and possibly lanced and tested as to what type of infection it is. CONTACT ME, THE ORDINARY — THIS IS DAMAGE *AND* PAIN. THIS IS MEDICAL DAMAGE. AND IT’S LOOKING LIKE DAMAGE TO MY BUSINESS — LET’S SEE HOW THT PLAYS OUT. But comments … comments from the tourists… now that’s going to be interesting. How do I explain to a tourist visiting Vermont, land of milk & honey skinned little ladies with bookstores — and me there in my expensive and fine Gudrun Sjöden clothing serving the richest of the rich of FL, the South, CA, and NY as they tour “quaint” Vermont and a “quaint” bookstore — and I have to explain why I’m sweating like a basketball player because I can’t tuck my hair up off my neck because I used The Ordinary’s hair serum and …. ….. I have a giant weeping, bleeding boil right in the middle of the front of my head, just over the forehead, and a chunk of hair missing, and then there are the enormously *missing* chunks of my widow’s peaks. How to I explain that I only used a few drops of serum 3 times and THIS — THIS HAPPENED TO ME? How do I do that without, well, naming the company? Shall I say: “You know … that company that packages everything in very plain packaging and starts with the word ‘THE’”? Shall I word it that way? Would that satisfy your lawyers? Speaking of which, I’l publicly share right here my TWO known topical allergies. At my age, and with sensitive skin to things like petroleum products, you’d think I’d have more than 2 allergies. I do not. You are allowed to know these. Hi, I bought this product in August and i wish i never did. Although some reviews have great results this product made me go bald! I had bald patches all over my head just by using it for two weeks! I at first I noticed a little balding spot on my left side of my head near my temple, but I thought it was thinning. I do have thin hair. I applied it every night for three weeks and I almost finished the bottle! But something told me to check my head because my hair felt wayyyy thinner than when I first started using it!! Lo and behold!! I was balding! Please do NOT buy this product unless you’re trying to get some form of alopecia.

Call me crazy but I have new visible growth after only a week and a half of using this serum! One year ago, I had a total hysterectomy and almost immediately noticed my hair thinning . Whether the thinning was caused by anesthesia or a fluctuation in hormones, I do not know. I am a hairdresser so I started the same regimen that I recommend to my clients. I was already taking biotin. I added in collagen I tried getting more protein in my diet and using salon quality products. I noticed some change, but it was slow and barely visible. This stuff is fantastic, and I will definitely be purchasing again! I am not being paid for this review!
