I’m a little sad to say this, because I really love this brand, but I don’t like this. I really tried to! I had such a hard time layering because it would take off my foundation! The sponge feels like it’s made of a weird foam compared to other sponges. I love how it looks, though! Super cute!

Super soft sponge to use wet or dry. Case is not very sturdy. Been using for maybe a month or two have taken it on about 4 trips so far and the case is done for. May be better with a thicker plastic or silicone case. Or even if the case was a more simple shape.

Not only is this sponge made out of a great material, but the heart shape genuinely does help with getting in small areas like around the eyes, while the sides are great for the rest of the face. Ever since I switched to using this and Trixie's brushes, my makeup has started turning out a million times better -- they truly do make a difference, are are absolutely worth every penny.

I think this is going to be my one-all sponge for makeup. I used it for concealer the other day under my eyes. With my previous sponges, they always lifted off the product and left less behind, which then made me use MORE product. With the Trixie Makeup Blender, I only needed to apply once. It was so soft and gentle on the eyes, and helped spread the concealer on evenly. I can’t wait to use this for liquid foundation so I can save on product while being gentle with my skin.

Let me start by saying this is the best damn makeup sponge out there. The shape of the heart is not only cute but really adds to the functionality. I have two that I've used and washed many times by now and they are still going strong. Blends so effortlessly. I don't expect them to last forever, since they are just sponges. But I've had so many sponges start to break/crumble after using them way less time than these bad boys. Yooo that case though :( had such promise! I love that it has air holes to dry your sponge while protecting it from touching your other tools. And its adorable. But after just opening and closing it gently about 8-10 times, the closure ridges just crumbled off and soon enough the body of it cracked, too. Be gentle with it and be advised it won't last!

I've used other brands of beauty sponges; from the cheap side to Beauty Blenders. This sponge is superior to all of them. First, it comes with a case. (How were you going to travel with your wet sponge? Ick). The color and shape are beyond adorable, but the shape comes in handy for various parts of the face. The texture of this sponge is what makes it a winner. It feels soft and pillowy, like I'm using a marshmallow. (The more expensive brand now feels rough) I just bought 2 more. I might share with a friend or keep them both for the future. Best purchase yet!

i LOVE this sponge, such a cute shape and case, which is super convenient! it's very soft and bouncy and it blends nicely. however, it soaks up more product that i'm used to, and it's SO FRAGILE, i do my best to be super gentle when washing and using it but she's literally torn apart right down the middle, not sure if the shape has anything to do with it or if the material is just not very resistant. hope this will be improved in the future, either way it is a nice product, just wish quality was better!

I had to press this sponge in harder than I would a beauty blender when applying foundation/concealer. It gets huge when wet but I have to put more work into it compared to other brands.

This was so fun to open--the packaging was darling! The sponge itself is really nice--dreamy soft. I love the aesthetic of the little case, but there are some design flaws. The plastic material its made of seems like it will break easily. More of an issue is that its a pain to open--there needs to be a little divet or something that gives your fingers traction to open it.
