I had previously owned a 15 inch Luka Laptop Backpack in Gunmetal. It's help up pretty well despite daily usage. I just now treated myself to the 17 inch Luka Backpack in Chocolate which is their neutral color that pretty much goes with any wardrobe. I was worried it would be too big, but it's working out just fine for work and school.

I own several other Luka items, and this backpack is made with the same high quality and cute design as the other pieces in the line. I only wish it were an inch or two larger in depth (but I was aware of the dimensions before purchasing). I think it will make an excellent personal item bag on future flights.

LOVE this backpack! It fits so much and I love that there are so many pockets to help keep all of my things organized. It’s perfect for travel and fits nicely under an airplane seat as a personal item. I’ve even used it for weekend trips without needing an additional suitcase! Only complaint is that the water bottle pocket is pretty tight for larger bottles (like my 40 oz Owala), but I can make them fit if the backpack itself isn’t too full. Overall it seems very sturdy and is cute, too! I’m glad I got the larger size for travel, and am now planning to purchase a 15” for my everyday backpack.

I am obsessed with everything from the Luka collection. For reference. I have both the 15 inch and the 17 inch. The 17 inch is way better for traveling on the airplane and the 15 inch is perfect for work. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the side pocket doesn't fit a water bottle - a total missed opportunity that would be perfect for so many reasons! I got the 17 inch hoping the side pocket would be bigger for a water bottle but it's not.

I searched high and low to find a backpack that accommodates my huge 17” laptop securely. I could not be more in love with this bag. I use it every day. So much room for my lunch and I LOVE that my 40oz Owala fits in the water bottle holder on the side. I can’t wait to use it as my carry on for my trip coming up!

I think I’ve had this backpack for about over a year at this point and I LOVE IT! It’s never shown wear or tear, has been in the rain multiple times, and carries so much. It’s durable and practical.

I'm constantly on the search for the perfect personal item backpack to go with my carry on and this one comes close. I've traveled with it a few times and really liked it for the most part, and will continue to use it when it fits the airline guidelines for personal items though a few small improvements could be made. Pros: - Very spacious, main interior pocket organization is excellent - Squishy so it can fit into smaller places when not full - Material is easy to clean - Has a water bottle pocket and a laptop pocket with extra organization Cons: - Flimsy straps make me worry about durability and makes it uncomfortable to carry if the backpack contents are heavy - A little too big for personal item size, and the 15 inch is a little too small. The duffle is the perfect size but I can't use a duffle do to mobility and pain issues unfortunately. Wish they made this in the duffle's dimensions. - Water bottle pocket can be difficult to use if the backpack has a lot in it, wish it was stretchy - Front pocket has no organization which makes it difficult to use for essentials you need to have in reach, anything you put in there just falls into the abyss of one big pocket

I really like the backpack. I was torn between torn 15 and 17 inch. The 17 is a little big for fitting under the seat in front of you. The pockets are well thought out in terms of location and design. It’s comfortable to wear and is nice on top of a roller bag. I was concerned about the material and I do notice that it’s already peeling after 2 uses. I think for the price that should not be an issue.
