I purchased a hat for my husband and daughter. We were able to use it a handful of times, until it was completely covered in mold. I mean less than a handful of uses. The hat never got wet, but we live in Florida. The humidity is wild. I reached out to customer service and they offered 20 % off instead of a refund. Which I feel is wrong, considering the price tag of these hats. If you make a product, regardless of the material you should stand behind it. A sun hat should be able to withstand the elements of the sun and heat. That’s the whole point.

I have purchased many Hemlock hats and the hats are always of outstanding quality. Recently, I received a box that was damaged in shipment. Hemlock customer service recognized the problem and quickly replaced the damaged hats.

Love the hat. I have one for myself. Bought this one for my husband and it’s too small for his head. I went with this brand because mine has held up so well and he goes through them quickly because he wears his a lot. Bummed it’s too small and there’s not another size option.

My husband bought this hat because he had a larger head but it just looked kind of comedically large on him. The brim was fine, but it was the bucket part that just looked very odd. For someone who already has a large-ish head it made his head look even bigger.

Unfortunately this hat didn’t work for me. I measured my head and according to my measurements it should have fit, but was too tight to the point where I knew it would give me headaches if I wore it for too long. I also found the bucket part of the hat oddly large, almost comedically. I tried on the XL that my husband ordered but it was way too big. I loved the print and width of the brim but overall the hat was a no go for me.
