The color is superb, stone sucks up water like magic, but it does have a weird smell to it that does transfer to your dishes they say if you don’t like the smell don’t put dishes in contact with it but that’s what I got it for. Also it has like a glue in between the stone so it rolls up the water collects there the stone sucks it up on the sides just takes longer and it can run out on your counters. Otherwise wonderful!
