I was a bit nervous as I've only rode Indys since 1988 but I'm stoked on these Krux trucks. The turn really smooth and feel really responsive. They grind smooth and I haven't had any hangups with them. I'll definitely order more Krux Trucks in the future.

They seem pretty good .I like how they turn and they grind good too although I haven’t gotten a good chance to skate them hard because I bought the wrong size so they’re not on my go-to deck .

These Krux K5 trucks are my favorite because they function "Purrrfect" and also they're shiny* and very nice looking, too!

Wanted to tryout these new trucks, i've been a indy rider my whole life and now i have another reason to never stray from that path. These trucks didn't turn nearly as well, not as responsive. other than not being able to get over the way the trucks felt under my feet they were very shiny and seemed tough, so if you like krux you'll probably be hyped on the k5s but i wasn't, i had to go get some indys and pass the k5s to my lil bro!

Hello NHS, My name is Jordan Hamilton and I began purchasing NHS products as a youngster in the late 80's from my local shop, which was in Cotati, California at the time. Since then I've always maintained that Independent trucks were the best, hands down. The lure of the new technology (inverted kingpin) and the lightweight appeal of the KRUX trucks sparked my interest about 2 years ago. Prior to the K5's I had the regular KRUX, with the inverted kingpin. The grind was solid and they turned well. After about a year of harsh curb skating I wore them down to the axels and decided to purchased the K5's. After one session the trucks appeared visually bent and regardless of the adjustments I made with the kingpin or the bushings, they wouldn't roll straight or turn with any precision whatsoever. So I slapped my trusty old INDY's on and have been skating with a smile ever since. I will never stray from Independent again regardless of the technology upgrades from other truck manufacturers. I know INDY has the inverted kingpin now as well but I'll just stick to grinding down traditional kingpins and nuts for the time being. I'm not the type of person to complain or ever return a product, but since you asked for my honest feedback I will provide it. I understand the inherent risk of purchasing a new product that will be getting abused straight out of the box, and how the outcome of the abuse is part of the learning process for the consumer and manufacturer. I wanted my KRUX K5's to be amazing, and unfortunately they were not. I feel awful giving a bad review but I guess it's best if the manufacturer knows the truth. A curb skater will mangle a set of KRUX K5's in 1 session. I can send the KRUX back if you want to check them out. I haven't tossed 'em yet. If you want to send me a set of 139 mid or 139 standard INDY's (or my favorite ever, the 6 hole, Stage 8's or (7's), if they exist in a dusty closet somewhere. I love Krux trucks. They have a great turn, light weight (I think they are lighter than my forged titanium Indy’s?), the best bushings, smooth & stable. The new K5’s do indeed turn better than the old ones. If you haven’t tried a set, you should 🤙

They’re great accept for the pivot cup gets pinched and eventually becomes wiggly loose.

I've been riding Krux Trucks forever. After my first pair like 15 years ago, they are the only trucks I ride. Best turning/bushings. They feel good right off the bat too, minimal break in time.

These trucks are a good update on the timeless Krux design. Overall, they retain the classic Krux feel that we know and love, but I think that they turn a bit better, probably because of the pivot cups. They also feel a bit more stable than the K4. The trademark hole in the hanger does its job as usual, opening many a beer for us.
