I like the plum colors. I wish more companies would do more variety of colors when it comes to eyeliner and mascara. It had a nice glide to it and didn’t tug my saggy eyelid which is nice!

If it is a Julep product, it is worth every penny. These eyeliners go on so smoothly and look beautiful. The colors are amazing. Everything about the soft black and hard (?) black are very good. The other colors I’ve bought don’t really show well on the upper eyelid - navy smoke, grey, brown. But I love the black gels. The only teeny problem with all the liners is when you sharpen them. There always seems to be a small sliver of wood that sticks up higher than the gel and boy that can be a bit painful when applying the color. I know sharpening a gel pencil isn’t rocket science but am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your answer. MaryClare C

I wish that I had read the low reviews for this product. The product itself is wonde4ful -the gel part. Glides on nicely and lasts all day. My frustration is that it cant be sharpened or a wat to push more product to the tip. Why would you design something as poorly as this? Did you ever run this eyeliner by real women.

The eyeliner itself was great. It went on nicely and I had no issues with it throughout the day. My issue is I don’t like not being able to twist up more of the eyeliner. I read a review where your company explained how to get more eyeliner and I’ll be honest, I couldn’t get it to do that. I feel a good portion of it was wasted because I got frustrated and threw it out. I didn’t feel like dealing with it. I would consider buying it again if you fix it where you can twist it to get more eyeliner out.

When I use these gel eyeliners, they immediately smudge into the crease of my eyelid when I blink. They also wear almost completely off in a few hours. If I am layering Julep products, I expect better.

I love how this goes on but after about two weeks of use, I need more product. I'm very confused by the Julep response on another comment about how to access more product: "To access more product, you'll want to gently remove that plastic cap from the tip, which should reveal more of the eyeliner underneath." I don't get how to "gently remove" the plastic cap. This is expensive eyeliner to only last a couple of weeks.

I don’t have very oily skin but when I used this I had raccoon eyes within two hours and it continued to run throughout the evening. I tried to hide some of it with powder. Went on nice and smooth though!
