The light is pink, not blue! This seems to be salon quality at a fraction of the price (other UV/LED nail lamps can cost up to $200).
I used it so far to cure my nails glue for my press on acrylic nails. The lights are hot and you can feel it curing. I haven't used it for gel nails yet, besides the base coat gel prior to the solid nail glue.
