Safety: There are seatbelts. It does stop on a hill if you let of the pedal, but there's a delay so don't try to stop close to the edge of you're going down. Durability: It's okay for a small child, maybe 2 to 3. It's a little flimsy for anything more. Performance: As long as you're on gravel and flat planes, it goes fine. If we try to run it on the grass, which is still flat, it acts like the battery is dead because it just doesn't have enough power to pull on grass. Ease of Use: Very easy to use. Compactness: It's fairly large, so it does take up some space.

Got this gift for my son for Christmas since he has an obsession for excavators. The way his eyes lit up when he unwrapped this gift was everything. The building process was easy alone but would be much faster if you had an extra set of hands. I love and HIGHLY recommend for your little ones.

My son is obsessed with his new backhoe tractor ! It came right in time for his birthday & we decked it out with Christmas lights & I could not recommend this product enough! He loves that the diggers are true functioning & he drives it all around the yard!

This is a pretty cool toy complete with remote control function. So you can drive and control for your younger kids. The remote control function overrides the driver functions. That is an absolute bonus. It was very easy to assemble.

I was under the assumption the bucket and digger arm were controllable via the remote. The lock for the digger arm doesn't work correctly so if my daughter his a bump the arm drops and drags on the ground. Together between the two of us it works correctly.

Absolutely love it. My grandson loves that it looks like his PaPa's tractor and enjoys riding around the yard with it. He has no problem driving and steering all on his own. But the remote control is an added bonus!
