I think the cam by itself has a limitation of being held at some places where it needs to be without a plugin socket. A battery could help. Even if it is rechargeable or replaceable should be good enough.

The clarity and features of these cameras are superior to most if not all others of similar design and I have tried many in the last few years. Setup is simple and installation is easy. The app is good but has crashed on me a few times so hopefully Eufy is aware and is working on making it more stable. When accessed, the cameras respond quickly. The audio is very clear. Motion detection is consistent and accurate and the AI tracking is a nice touch.

Will constantly give you -411 error even on good wifi connection. Slow to load video. Play back option is pretty much useless. Very buggy

It should be noted pretty clearly that if you want to use this to monitor a window or glass door looking outside, at night, the camera will not be able to see anything outside, but only a reflection in the glass. Fairly useless for this purpose, so it’d be great if that was clear up front. Also should tell people you cannot set the device up at all without either having a micro sd card available to install (which is not provided in the kit) or you are required to sign up for a subscription cloud storage service to even operate the camera. Pretty lame.

I got these two cameras as a way to keep an eye on our pets while away. They were on sale at a decent price. For what we wanted, they work great. However, they were not necessarily the product I wanted. I could not get the product I wanted because it wasn't compatible with Apple Homekit. Also, this product is only compatible with Homebase 3, which is NOT compatible with Homekit either. Only the Homebase 2 is. I don't understand why ALL Eufy products are not compatible in the same way across the board. Trying to buy from this company is super confusing as to what will work in my home. IF they were, I would be a better customer.

These were unusually hard to get setup and connected to the app but after a couple of days they seemed to settle in. I have other higher priced Eufy cameras and they did not have this issue. You need to get the firmware updated first then go back and reconnect them.

These cameras were super easy to get setup, and the videos are great, with amazing panoramic views! Just a tap gives you a perfect zoom in. And the audio is loud and clear. I could add the the 360 rotation also impressive.

Great product at a great price. I use several of these around my property. I load a 128meg MiniSD connect to Wi-Fi and it's all good to go. I normally keep it in continuous recording so I can review history. No need for monthly subscriptions!

We are using these to monitor our 6 dogs because the pack members have been attacking the one they perceive to be the weakest. The cameras are working great and they produce nice videos. If I were to complain about anything it would be the noise they make when they tilt. The pan motion is silent but the tilt is somewhat noisy.. They to pan 360 degrees but it's not continuous. They pan 360 and stop and then they need to switch directions. Overall, we like them.
