Very easy to set up once I made it through the procedure. There was some difficulty with signing up for the app, with different levels being offered and difficult to get through to the free version. But we got there, and the camera is working very well. The sound quality is terrible, but that is not what we bought this for. Our cats do recognize my voice when I talk to them, but it has light volume and "fuzzy". The sound from the camera to me is not understandable.. After setting up and testing, I moved the camera to another location and that went amazingly well, including connecting up with a different access point. Overall, about 30 minutes for the first set-up, then less than ten to get it going at the other location. This was impressive. I first set it up watching our cat door. Works great. It even "sees" thorough the glass window beside the cat door ... we use it to monitor to see when ours go in and out, and to monitor when a feral stray tries to make it in. This "live" video runs about a second or two behind the real action. It appears to be the same whether or not I am in the same room on local WIFI router, or across the county and accessing via smart phone app. When it was at the cat door I was getting 30+ "dings" per day.

Nicely made, its sturdy and not bulky/ugly to place in room. Very easy to install. However, I wish I could move the camera in the app like the pan&tilt does. It motion tracks to the same spot each day and then gets “stuck” there until I come home and can physically point it back to the couch/rest of the room. Luckily I just use it to watch the dog and not actual security since I can only see one walkway half the time

This was a great purchase. I bought it to be able to see my dog when he is crated. It brings such relief to be able to see him when I am away from home. The video is really clear and I can even speak to him through the camera. I am very happy with the Eufy brand

I can use this camera to monitor any area it is aimed at! And hear things too! I could talk but I haven't figured out how to make it louder..was really faint. Still love these Eufy cameras. I am now up to 3!

I was pleasantly surprised when I found this camera because it is the best so far and it has a low price. Besides requiring no subscription, the camera has many features that weren't in my old camera of another brand. It even has the option for me to turn off the infrared light if I want. Since I don't have an outdoor camera, I put one of these cameras behind my glass window. The infrared light creates a glare against the window at night. For that reason, I turned off the infrared light. I bought 5 of this camera for my home and my mom's. Will be buying 8 more since they are cheap, of great quality and easy to install.

Bought one for the dog so I can check on him in his crate and one for the garage, Nice quality picture. It picks up movement and noises if that's something you need. These features can also be shut off. So, for the dog, I've shut them off and they are on for the garage. Noise activation is impressive. The garage is under the house and it picks up a tennis ball bouncing on floor above. Even at the lowest sensitivity setting.

when i received this item, not only was it missing the power adapter to even turn it on, it still had an SD card inside of it, meaning it had been used and returned AND not been inspected before being re-shipped. it's scratched, dented, scuffed, and missing pieces. and eufy customer service wanted me to try to connect it to my phone to verify functionality knowing it had someone else's data storage inside it. sorry but i'm not willing to have someone else's stuff on my phone for any reason. amelioration for this issue from customer support came only in the form of an offer for a 15% partial refund only after i "prove it isn't working". i find that ridiculous.

I love Anker. I have tons of their products. All kinds of chargers, 2 robovacs, etc. this camera is advertised as “works with HomeKit”. I guess that is technically true, but if you want this $25 camera to work with HomeKit, you will need to spend at least another $150 on a home base or some such thing. They need to do a MUCH better job of calling this out. Incredibly disappointed, and my trust in Anker is eroded. Now I know I need to read Anker’s fine print much more carefully. Would give 0 stars, if possible. Will look to other companies that are more forthcoming in the future. Awful.

Eufy has integrated planned obsolescence into this camera design. This thing works well for a few years and then it just stops. I had mine for 3 years before it lost function. Whenever your camera gets the purple light, it is dead. It looks like it should be fine, but that purple light means that it will not connect to wifi anymore and is completely useless.

Lightweight, easy to pair and works flawlessly within the Apple Home ecosystem. These cameras are indispensable and function as a supplement to our home security system. I especially love that they work well separate to Apple Home and have on-device security storage capability. So, Apple Home or something else, these cameras are easy to use and worth the price.

These are awesome with Apple HomeKit. You set them up in the Eufy app, then add them to HomeKit. Once that's done footage is saved to your iCloud storage and you can access directly from the Home app...so no additional subscription fee needed as long as you have iCloud Storage. I'm assuming it also relies on my AppleTV as a hub.A few caveats...the resolution of the cameras is higher natively and in the Eufy app than they are in Home app, but the quality is still good enough for me. You also can't use the voice chat functionality where you can talk through the camera. You can do it in the Eufy app and also see the higher res feed there also.All said these are a great value and easy way to add some cameras to your homekit setup.
