It’s been over a month and my pores are clogged with this stuff. Allure recommended it because it’s not supposed cause breakouts and make acne worse, but it did for me. Disappointing big time.

I sent an email and received one reply back but I’m still not sure if the package is coming. Overall I give this review, a -1. I pretty much just gave them my money. This is my third time purchasing moisturizer from you guys but this last purchase the product smells like burnt plastic. It also leaves that smell on my face. I’m not sure if this can be rectified but I love the product and would love for it to be replaced!

I've been struggling with dehydrated, flaky skin especially on my forehead. I've gone through multiple different moisturizers (some recommended by my derm and esthetician) for a year with nothing helping. Then I found this moisturizer and my skin finally feels and looks regulated. The flakiness is gone and I've only been using for 2 weeks! Very impressed and will definitely keep purchasing. Also to note I have acne and rosacea and this did not break me out or aggravate my sensitive skin.

I’ve used Shani’s products exclusively for 5 years now, and started off using the oil free moisturizer, which was great, but as my skin has changed over the years I started needing more hydration. Good thing Shani released this one at the exact time I needed it! I have used nothing else since, and never will if I can help it. It’s thick and hydrating without being greasy, you can wear it year round without feeling suffocated (and I live in the south), it doesn’t clog pores, I have never once had a breakout or reaction from it, you only need a little at a time so it lasts forever, it soothes inflamed skin, it evens skin tone….basically, there is no comparison, so just buy it already. Pro tip: if you also use Shani’s cleanser, spend the $4 more and get the hydration set! I haven’t bought a full sized cleanser in years because of the online sets often including the travel ones. Incredible value, truly!

I do really like this moisturizer, especially used at night after my tretinoin cream. It’s very rich and feels slightly occlusive/heavy even using a small amount, so I don’t prefer using this during the day since I am acne prone and like a little more breathability. I also don’t think this would be a great summer time moisturizer unless your skin is very dry or you live in a dryer climate.

I’ve been using the hydration peptide creme for the past two weeks and it has already changed my skin so much.
