When this first came out I was so happy. I ordered it when I could and it did not disappoint. It is definitely hydrating but also has good cleansing power. I reach for this more than the clay based one- though I like both. It has a rich lather and does not weigh my fine thick, 4c hair down. It lathers really well and a little goes a long way. It has a soft scent and golden colour. It is not drying and does not tangle my hair. I also was won the smaller size from S&K. My whole family uses it now. I have been using this for about 7+ months now.

I immediately noticed a difference in my hair! Other people noticed it too! I have had numerous people asking me what I was doing differently since using these products. I waited until I used the products a few times before I did my review and every time I use these products my hair just gets better and better! I have extremely sensitive skin and have been looking for years for products that after washing my hair do not make me covered in red blotches. I was beginning to wonder if I had chloric eczema it’s so bad but only happens on days when I wash my hair. Have to also mention how badly other products made my scalp soooo itchy! After using the shampoo and conditioner with the pre wash I no longer get red itchy skin after washing my hair, my scalp is no longer itchy and irritated and I also have the best hair of my life! I know everyone is different but if you are reading this because you are still hesitant about ordering. Please take this review as your sign to give it a try! I have struggled with dandruff by day 2 of my wash. I have thick , curly hair. This shampoo along with the clay cleanser has made a tremendous difference in my scalp and hair health. These are my holy grail products. I don’t even need to do my weekly ACV rinse because these are so effective!

Um! I never write reviews but I had to pause for this one. I've been rockin' with S&K from day 1. The weird part of all of this is. . . . I didn't fall in love with their products at first. It was more like dating for awhile before I said yes. This company began sending me emails a few years ago which I rarely read blind emails but something caught my attention about this amazing company. I fell in love with who they are, the purpose and their mission. I hadn't even tried the products out yet but something about the mission drew me in. They made me feel like I belonged and my hair journey was more than how many dollars they could squeeze out of me. It was real and authentic. A true love story. Now, I'm ready to make my first purchase and I tried the prewash a few times and okay I like it but its making my hair feel like straw. Ah bummer it has coconut in it and my hair hates coconut. I sent them an email and ya'll. . . . . they responded within 24 hours and told me to gift the product to someone and they will give me a refund. Amazing service! I had to figure out which products worked on my hair because good service is hard to find and I finally found a company that seemed to fit me-authentic and natural. Time passed and I always read emails, updates, partnerships, discounts you name it. And then the hydrating Turmeric Shampoo came out. I love all things turmeric so it's on. I tried it along with the amazing nourishing naram conditioner. Winning! My hair is growing and healthier than it has ever been and I finally found a place that gets me. My hair feels wonderful, I’ve been in the hunt for the right shampoo for a while. Most things either made my hair greasier than it already gets, faded my color, or overall just didn’t do as advertised. The detoxing cleanser combined with the turmeric shampoo and conditioner has worked wonders for keeping my curls clean and moisturized while also not effecting my color and keeping my hair clean for longer. Next time I purchase I’m definitely trying out the pre wash, serum, and refresher spray

I won the smaller size container in a giveaway pr box and unfortunately just now was able to finally try it. The smell and texture are very lovely and nice to use. The shampoo felt very moisturizing on my hair and as someone who loves turmeric it's great to see it in a shampoo. My hair feels very soft after using but I would recommend going in with a more Clarifying shampoo first if you have thicker hair. The only thing I did not enjoy was that my hair didn't feel very clean from products in it but I just added a clarifying shampoo to my routine and this makes a great cleanser for a second clean to add moisture back in. Very lovely and would definitely recommend to a friend.

I had received a little sample of this before purchasing. I used it once and bought it immediately. I’m obsessed! It feels so refreshing when using it and it super sudsy which I looove and you don’t even need that much! Plus my hair is full and sooo soft!

I was skeptical when I saw the texture of the shampoo, but it cleans well and doesn't strip the hair. My daughter has very curly hair and is a very occasional washer and I am straight and tend to oily and it works wonders for both of us.
