So…. I don’t think it’s very safe. It has very hard pieces and they are sharp. My ball python instantly got stuck going through. And when I went to pull her I noticed that she could’ve easily scratched herself pretty bad… maybe on BABY snakes. But even then… very scary I don’t play about my baby.

Your bearded dragon doesn’t need a sauna OR a snowstorm, he needs a temperature buffet! 🍽️ Keep one side toasty (100–110°F) for basking and the other chill (75–85°F) for lounging. That way he can decide if he’s feelin’ hot or just needs a lil cooldown. 🌡️🦎 We use the ThermoPro TP450 Dual Laser Temperature Gun to make sure every zone’s just right. It’s super fast, crazy accurate, and shows temps from two laser points at once for perfect readings across your enclosure. 🔥 Whether you’re checking your basking spot or your beardie’s nap zone, this gadget keeps you in the (temperature) zone! 😎📏 This is my first stacked enclosure setup, and I noticed Darth Vader (our middle dragon) was a bit off. Less energy, smaller appetite, and no signs of overheating like mouth gaping. But when I checked his basking spot, it hit 119°F! 😳 Turns out being sandwiched in the middle made his temps spike. I swapped his 100W bulb for a 75W and kept monitoring. Update: Doing much better with the bulb change. Fellow reptile lovers, got any other tips for stacked setups or ways to keep Vader feeling his best? Drop your advice below! ThermoPro TP450 Features - Automatic Shut-Off: Designed with an auto-shutoff function to conserve battery life. - Dual Laser Accuracy: Features dual laser pointers for faster and more precise temperature targeting. - Easy-to-Read Display: Equipped with a large, colorful display that remains clear in low light conditions. - Enhanced Safety & Distance: Utilizes advanced thermopile technology with a 16:1 distance-to-spot ratio for safe temperature readings from a distance. - Multiple Display Modes: Includes MAX, MIN, and AVG display modes for versatile temperature tracking. - Versatile Temperature Range: Capable of measuring temperatures ranging from -58℉ to 1022℉, suitable for a variety of surfaces. @TempSpike by ThermoPro #reptile #husbandry #beardiesoftiktok #beardeddragon #terarrium

Want them to eat their greens? Then read this Salad… but make it negotiable. Zero saw the mealworms and didn’t ask questions. Caterpillar followed his lead like a professional. Darth Vader? Suspicious. Observing. Considering the terms. Eventually… she agreed to the deal. Today’s salad upgrade: 🥗 Greens ➕ Mealworms as croutons ➕ Bee pollen as a dressing Sometimes it’s not about forcing salad. It’s about incentives. If your beardie hates greens, don’t give up. There are ways to make salad less offensive. 🦎🥬 🥗 1️⃣ Use “Salad Toppers” Mealworms, dubia nymphs, BSFL sprinkled on top, not mixed in. Why it works: •	Movement triggers feeding response •	They accidentally eat greens while going for bugs •	Builds positive association with the salad bowl 👉 This is exactly why Zero and Caterpillar jumped in fast. Prey drive first, salad second. 🥬 2️⃣ Chop Greens SMALLER Than You Think Large leaves = ignored Finely chopped = accidentally eaten Best practice: •	Chop to bug sized pieces •	Mix textures (soft + crunchy) It’s harder for them to pick around greens when everything is bite-sized. 🌈 3️⃣ Rotate Greens (Boredom Is Real) Staples: •	Collard greens •	Mustard greens •	Turnip greens Add-ins for interest: •	Dandelion greens •	Endive •	Escarole Some beardies won’t touch a green… until it’s a different green. 🐛 4️⃣ Feed Bugs After Salad (Timing Matters) Offer salad first when they’re most alert and warm. Why: •	Hunger increases curiosity •	Bugs don’t completely replace greens •	They’re more likely to “settle” for salad This is especially key for skeptical eaters like Darth Vader. 🌡️ 5️⃣ Check Temps (This Is Huge) If basking temps are off, appetite suffers. General targets: •	Basking surface: ~100–110°F (adult dependent) •	Cool side: ~75–85°F A beardie that’s too cool = uninterested in food, especially greens. 🫧 6️⃣ Lightly Mist Greens Not soaked. Just fresh. Why: •	Increases smell •	Makes greens more appealing •	Adds hydration Many beardies prefer greens that look “alive.” 🎯 7️⃣ Be Patient With Skeptical Eaters Some dragons (👀 Darth Vader) need: •	Observation time •	Proof others are eating it •	A few failed standoffs That’s normal. Persistence > pressure. For the crickets and mealworms @Dubia Roaches For the bee pollen @Wild Pet Supply #Reptile #petreptile #reptilelover #beardeddragon #CapCut
