I've suffered hormonal and cystic acne since I was 14 years old (I am now 29). I've tried everything : birth control pills (several different ones), zinc, topicals, antibiotics, accutane twice, went to see several dermatologists, etc. Those solutions more or less worked but the acne always came back. Around 2019, I got the problem under control by going on a different kind of birth control (i.e. I swept the problem under the rug). But in 2022 (at 27 yo) I was fed up taking hormones, and despite knowing I had a 90% chance of having terrible acne again, I went off of it and got a copper IUD. In 3 months, the terrible hormonal and cystic acne came back all over my face, but especially midface (cheeks and jawline). And I was left out of options to try. That's when I found Clearstem, but I couldn't buy MindBodySkin since they wouldn't ship to France because of the 5-HTP. So I checked all my products for pore cloggers and followed all the Clearstem recommandations. I've had to wait for the no 5-HTP version to drop to finally be able to get it (I still bought 5-HTP on the side because I wanted the full MindBodySkin experience since I am not on SSRIs – I dont understand why Clearstem cannot sell the original 5-HTP version in France since I can buy 5-HTP online and get it shipped here, but whatever). I bought 3 bottles in January 2024, because despite the 1 week improvement claim, I was determined to try it for at least 3 months before judging because with my luck I was sure I would have a terrible purge. That indeed happened. The first 2 months,my acne worsened but I held on knowing everything had to come out before I could see an improvement. The third month (march 2024), the acne calmed down, the cystic acne became less frequent and inflamed and I was left with smaller breakouts. But I still had awful acne. I bought another 3 bottes in April 2024. Today marks my 5 months on MindBodySkin. Instead of the 20+ inflamed pimples I had in january, I am now left with 4/5 very manageable non inflamed pimples that leave my face way faster and hurt way less than before. All in all, I can say that MindBodySkin definitely works and has been a godsent for me, it saved my skin naturally and I couldn’t be happier. However, the 1 week claim is not accurate for everybody. And the supplement is expensive, since you have to stay on it basically forever for it to keep working (tough I plan on lowering the dose to make a bottle last longer when I will be fully satisfied by the results). Now the results : I chose to put only pictures with foundation on so you can see only the active acne since I also have a lot of hyper pigmentation that can be mistaken for active acne. The pics where I have the flower earrings date from January. The ones where I don’t have earrings (and almost no acne !) date from today, June 6th. As you can see, I have way less acne, but still have awful pitted scars and hyperpigmentation (thanks 15 years of acne !). I’m working on it with my esthetician (skincare, SPF, peelings, microneedling sessions etc.). Again, Thank you Clearstem!

I was incredibly skeptical when reading the reviews, but figured I would give it a try because I have tried everything else. After about 2 weeks, I noticed the bumps around my chin and cheeks start to minimize. I’ve been taking the vitamins religiously for 3 months now and I hardly get a breakout! All of the bumps my dermatologist said were hormonal acne is completely gone. I used to get very bad and painful breakouts around my period, now I only get a few small pimples (if that!) and have stopped using all the prescription ointments my dermatologist recommended. I truly cannot believe how well this stuff works! I’ve recommended it to a few friends who struggle with the same problems as well. I wish I had a good before picture to share but I really didn’t think it was going to be worth the disappointment. Here is today, a few days before my period when I used to get my worst breakouts. I still have a lot of scaring, but the other ClearStem products mixed with red light therapy have really helped improve this too.

This product as pretty much completely eliminated my acne. I have had acne my whole life, since probably 11 or 12, and I am now 28. I have tried every product under the sun that claims to get rid of your acne and nothing every did. Even with going to multiple dermatologists and using prescription retinol, nothing has truly changed my skin like Clearstem. I used to have new breakouts every single day and now I am able to go days without even needing concealer. For reference, I also use the whole system with the face wash and clarity seurm, but for my hormonal acne the pills really make the difference. I simply cannot recommend this product enough. And similar to other reviewers I would give it a couple of months for it to really work it's magic.

Earlier this year, I was experiencing the worst acne of my life. It seemed like no matter what I tried, not much seemed to work or would only give me temporary results. Between really focusing on my diet and adding this supplement, I am free of the horrible cystic acne. I get a few breakouts here and there, but nothing like I was experiencing before. Give it more time than they say though, especially if your acne is as bad as mine was. It took about a month for the supplement to kick in and to really see the difference, but I am so happy now! No more painful, cystic acne and I am feeling more confident again :)

I had horrible hormonal acne all down my jawline and neck for 3 months. Originally I went to a dermatologist and they gave me trentinoin and a salicylic acid face wash. All it did was irritate it and make everything worse. So I stopped using my new expensive skincare (thanks for nothing dermatologist). My friend told me about this brand and right after I started taking these supplements my hormonal acne stopped and the scars faded. Nothing else changed in my routine. I started on the ones that contain 5-HTP but didn’t want to take that long term. 100% recommend. First photo: 12/13/2023. Second photo: 4/11/2024. Started taking clear stem in February but took time for scars to fade.

i recommend if you have acne and acne scars that are very hard to get rid of, i’ve struggled with acne for years now and this is one of the few things that has actually helped with reducing my acne. i’m so happy with the results i have gotten!

I’m so glad I gave this supplement a chance. It has truly cleared my skin after trial and error with so many other products. I had terrible under the skin pimples and normal acne. After taking this supplement regularly, it pushed all the nasty to the surface and then kept my skin clear.
