Eufy didn’t fill my complete address on the package so the parcel was returned to them after 1 delivery attempt. Now the status shows as “delivered” and I never received my product. Don’t trust this shop or brand. Customer service has been abysmal and keeps promising a replacement that never ships.

Seemed to work great for 1 year and 15 days, just enough time to pass the one-year warranty... Which Eufy chose to not honor. This will be my 3rd home base in 3 years. Hopefully it lasts. Would be nice to have longer than 1-year warranty on this because one year seems to be the home base lifespan.

The choice to utilize the 2.5" HDD form factor was a poor choice in choosing form over function. HDD manufacturers have no reason anymore to develop technology for the 2.5" disk size, laptops have shifted to m.2 and nearly all storage for desktop or enterprise use is 3.5. Finding a cost effective solution for local storage is nearly non-existent.

Hello, I recently installed the S380 HomeBase (HomeBase 3) and connected it to my three SoloCam S3 units (the Costco version of the SoloCam S340). Before adding the HomeBase, I was able to access each camera’s live feed in about 2 seconds or almost instantly, including zero delay when using the pan-and-tilt controls. After connecting the cameras to the HomeBase 3, the performance has become significantly worse—the live feed now loads with a long delay, pan/tilt commands lag heavily, and overall responsiveness has dropped to the point that the cameras are almost unusable. This is despite the additional AI features that the HomeBase is supposed to enable. Troubleshooting steps I’ve already tried with no improvement: Connecting HomeBase 3 via Ethernet Using Wi-Fi instead Switching between Performance Mode and Standard Mode Restarting the HomeBase and all cameras Confirming the HomeBase reports excellent signal strength to each SoloCam S3 Verifying my network performance (1.2 Gbps Internet with strong 2.4 GHz coverage everywhere) Even the eufy Security app is having issues: the feedback submission freezes endlessly with a spinning circle, and the Shop section hangs as well. Clearing cache, clearing data, and reinstalling the app did not help. I’ve included screenshots and a short video demonstrating the problem. Please let me know the next steps. I am willing to try a firmware rollback, beta firmware, or any other troubleshooting you recommend—anything that restores the immediate responsiveness I had before adding the HomeBase 3. I would strongly prefer not to return four cameras and the HomeBase, but in the current state the system is not usable. I was excited to continue expanding my setup and even planned to purchase the A10 Smart Display today, but this experience with the HomeBase 3 has made me reconsider until the performance degradation is addressed. While I was gone on vacation the system just stopped working. For 3 days it was useless until I got home and power cycled the HomeBase. After the power cycle everything is working again. A security system I can't depend on isn't a good security system.

The range on the Homebase 3 is so poor I can’t get my S3 pro cameras to pick up the signal outside of my living room where the Homebase 3 is installed. What a waste of money. My OUTDOOR S3 Pro cameras cannot work without the Homebase 3, and the only way to extend the signal is to run Ethernet cables all over my house and purchase multiple Homebase’s. Eufy, how about you make a product capable of supporting the outdoor cameras you sell, I don’t need 4 cameras in my living room, I would like to be able to place them outside where they belong.

I purchased the HomeBase 3 along with an E340 Video Doorbell and S340 SoloCam. The HB3 is a must have if you want all of the motion detection and AI options. Before I set it up I installed a Samsung 870 EVO 1TB internal SATA SSD because I knew I wanted to store a lot of video footage. The internal drive was easy to install with the instructions. I have the HB3 directly attached to our wifi router via the ethernet cable that is supplied. Once I plugged it in and let it go through the setup process, I then added it as a new device in the app. The app walks you through the setup process and makes it fairly simple. The new internal drive was recognized right away. You have to format the new drive but it’s easy in the app. Another big plus with the HomeBase is that it puts out a much stronger wifi signal than my wifi router itself. After connecting all of my cameras to the HomeBase instead of my wifi router, they now show the strongest connection possible with full bars.
