FTM nightshift with 1 month old. No, I did not sleep much🫩. I don’t have any help for the evenings, and during the day the baby is so fussy with anyone else, so I only get a couple hours rest here and there. Idk how I am functioning at all honestly with such a lack of sleep. He tends to be fussy and more awake around 1-5am 😭 He hates his bassinet, but I’m still trying to get him to use it cuz I can’t hold him all the time. A good swaddle, a soothing paci, and playing white noise seems to help… kinda? Idk. lol he switches it up all the time. EC = elimination communication. I started doing that with him when he was 2 weeks old. It’s just me paying attention to his cues and offering him a potty. If you bf I highly recommend getting something like a Haakaa to catch your letdown instead of it leaking and going to waste. I have 2 different kinds. A manual pump and a milk collector, both are awesome. I will link them in my showcase.
