Prevent sticking:
·To prevent food from sticking, please preheat the griddle before adding oil, then wait until the oil is hot before starting to cook, taking care not to preheat to "High"! Preheat the griddle from "Medium Low" to "Medium" for best results. Preheating at high temperatures will burn cooking oil onto the surface of the griddle making it difficult to remove.
To prevent the griddle from warping:
·Avoid using large quantities of frozen food on a hot griddle griddle; extreme temperature changes will cause warping.
·Avoid preheating the griddle griddle too much, especially when cooking frozen foods, and use the burner to heat up slowly; not rapidly, otherwise, this solid material may be subject to thermal shock and cracking.
·When using the griddle, the temperature should no exceed 400 degrees, and if it is made of Teflon, do not exceed 350 degrees.
·For the cleaning, you need to wait until it is completely cooled down before cleaning, or wash it with warm water, please don't wash the griddle directly with a lot of cold water before it is cooled down.
·Make sure you are using the right size burner. Avoid high power burners concentrated in a small area to burn, four corners of the griddle are not flat and griddle is too big for the burner, which will cause the uneven heat, and thus may warp, so make sure the burner under the flat griddle burning area are heat up and at the same time, control the fire size to ensure that the heating is uniform.
·Do not worry the slight warping, cooling will recover on its own, if it's not recovered, slowly heating again, let it slowly cool again!
