One week into this spf and loving it overall! I am a big fan of other Live Tinted products so was excited to try this one. It does feel a little greasy while applying, so I was hesitant at first. After a few minutes, it sinks in nicely and has a beautiful, glowy finish. Love that it’s spf 50.

I want to love this product. It is lightweight and blends beautifully into my skin, leaving a warm glow and smooth finish. It looks way better on my medium skin tone than the original Hueguard 3-in-1 formula, which leaves a slight white cast on me. I would want to use it as my daily SPF except for two ingredient red flags: This sunscreen has an even lower percentage of zinc oxide than the original hueguard 3-in-1 (14% vs. 18. 75%). So how the heck does it have a higher SPF rating? The answer is that the formula uses a second ingredient, butyloctyl salicylate, which is actually a chemical suncreen that gets to be listed as an "inactive" ingredient because the FDA hasn't made sunscreen makers flag it as an active chemical, even though it is chemically equivalent to octisalate. I am looking for a sunscreen that looks and feels great on my skin, but that also protects my skin from UVA and UVB rays and harmful chemicals. Unfortunately while this product delivers on look & feel, I don't feel at ease wearing it due to its low zinc oxide percentage and the presence of a chemical I don't want to absorb into my skin.
