I bought this and tried it twice. No doubt it creates lift at the roots to give the appearance of more volume, but it makes my hair stiff and brittle like straw. Feels and looks awful. I won’t be using it again. Really disappointed because I love other LP items, and they usually leave my hair feeling really natural.

My hair is fine. Therefore a spray that delivers a fine mist would be great. This doesn't, it just squirts out the product so it is not evenly distributed. Can see no particular difference in the volume of my hair once its dried.

I bought this after being influenced (lesson in there somewhere). It did give parts of my hair some immediate body but that was not long lasting in any way and I found my hair greasy the next day, requiring washing. (My hair usually lasts 4 days). I assume the influencer used a combo of products to achieve the enviable, long lasting volume - should know better really! Would not recommend.

The best, I bought two as it gives volume without stickiness or an odd texture. 5/5 for the product but a point off as the spray is poor, it works intermittently and is a pain to use, I have decanted.

I have yet to find a volume spray that adds volume but leaves hair silky and shiny. This didn't deliver for me I am afraid.

I use this on my menopausal hair alongside the complimenting shampoo, Conditioner and styling cream and my hair feels fabulous for an entire week! - with the addition of the occasional dry shampoo if necessary. It doesn’t feel heavy or look greasy. These products are worth it!

Tried this volume spray for the first time. My hair is straight and quite flat so I’m always looking for a product that will give me the lift and volume that my short layered style needs. This works pretty well. It’s not sticky or heavy and gave me the lift I was looking for. However, it didn’t hold my hair style all day, so for that reason I’ve given only 4 stars. It’s one of the best styling products I’ve tried though! Almost always like Living Proof products. They’re pricey but worth it I think. Especially if you buy when they have an offer

I absolutely love the Living Proof Root Lift products. With my medium hair, I always need a bit of extra height and volume. Instead of spraying it directly onto my roots, which can make them too stiff, I spray some on my fingers and then work it into my roots. It's the best product for the money and has no odor.
