Took a bit of practice but I manage. The ease of just bunning up with a bit of style is great! Sometimes neat and classic. Sometimes messy, utilitarian and ready for work or art!

I bought this when I had really thick, long hair. Every time I tried to insert it into a bun or twist, the two ends of the pin would cross over each other in my hair (picture fingers crossed 🤞🏻). I tried to hold them apart but since it is metal, I found it too difficult. This made it hard for the pin to slide in around my hair and get a good hold. Maybe if my bun or twist wasn’t so tight? But then the style would not stay put. I wanted it to work but (because it seems simple and is pretty), it just didn’t for me.

I really like the color of hematite and is excited to have a hematite hair pin. This is really a nice hair pin. I wish I had more hair so it wouldn't keep falling out (note that I am not faulting the hair pin).

I've had to look for video tutorials on YT and social. I'd love it if it had more 'grip' to it, because it can slip out quite easily.

I love this product. I use it almost everyday. Easy to use holds my hair in place in an elegant way. I don't get a headache as they are not too tight but they remain in place.

I really wanted to try a French pin. Watched a few videos and thought "this looks cool!" I have finer type hair but a lot of it. This particular pin is heavier. No matter what style I tried it on, it would not stay. I think the description should specify for thicker/heavier type hair.
