Ive been enjoying thursdays explorer build a lot! Since my size exchange with the presidents i went with the proper size for these and they fit and feel fantastic! Everyone talks about the tongue not being gusseted which isnt that big of a deal imo. I love these boots and have received plenty of compliments about them :)

Taking into account the fact that it was international delivery to Europe, it was fast and the package was delivered in excellent condition. Explorer boots looks solid and heavy, but in reality unbelievably light on your leg, and absolutely comfortable. High quality materials, and boots by themselves maded with quality as well.

I got my first pair of Thursdays last year, and decided I wanted a heavier duty boot as well. These boots exceeded my expectation for comfort and looks. Honestly couldn't be happier about the quality build these have.

Fits great. First pair I had were a tad small, but replacement was quick and easy. I do wish there were speed hooks, but the boots are quite comfy, feel good, and required very little break in. Craftsmanship feels fine and balance is good. Certainly worth the price!

Bought two pair! LOVE this style of boot. Wish they would bring back the smooth black version. The glove soft leather lining is such a great touch, you can literally feel the quality through your socks! I like the Jasper version the most because I prefer smooth leather over the rugged and resilient leather (suede-like). Just a personal preference. The Vibram sole (and Rose Anvil's videos) is ultimately what got me back into Thursday boots. Adding a Vibram sole really demonstrates a commitment to quality and I'm really impressed with Thursday's overall quality. I can ride the motorcycle into the office with these on and still look good in a meeting. Very versatile boot. The full grain leather on the Jaspers breaks in very nicely and has a great patina, you can see it in my picture. The "pull up" quality leather does this naturally where the leather stretches, bends and breaks-in. I do wish these had a leather gusset at least part of the way up the tongue for even better water resistance, but even without it, the tongue on these boots does not slide over to one side or the other like on cheaper boots. The leather padded collar is super nice. Man, so much great leather on this boot and the aroma of leather is incredible! Especially on the Jaspers, not as much on the R&R leather versions. The four quick lace loops on the top half of the boot are actually really nice, almost over-engineered. They have a tiny roller that allows the laces to slide through easily, but they can be tricky to thread the lace into if you're in a rush. I got a shorter version of the laces since I like to just lace them to the top with a small knot and not have a lot of extra hanging. The longer laces that these boots come with allow you to wrap them around the boot like in their pictures. I usually wear a 10.5 to 11 in Nikes and went with a 10.5 in these and I'm very happy. I have a little extra breathing room which I like. I could have probably gotten a 10 and been fine, but I like the extra room. You'll love these boots.

No regrets!!! Definitely recommend buying the brush and protective spray for the boots!!! The wrinkling on my boots give it a lot of character and after a couple days of wearing the boots are super comfy. The leather is quality and the feel is great! Definitely would buy again!!!

Fits great, best boot I own! Jumped on the waiting list for the Jasper Explorer's & I'm glad I did. They look good & perform even better, built solid it's definitely a boot that will last. I especially like the hardware for the top 4 lace threads. Makes you look forward to tying your laces. I just wish Thursday's sold Steel Toes too!!

When I die, you just burry me in these boots. Never thought I’d own combat boots but these are 10/10. I wear a size 10.5 sneaker and got these in a size 10. I recommend half a size down rather than a full size like it recommends on the site but that’s just me.

I love these boots. I went with the recommendation and went a half size down and they fit perfect. Break in period was almost nonexistent right out of the box fit well after just a day or two they molded to my feet.

Great all around boot!! Took almost no time to break them in!! The fit is perfect! Very easy to take care of! The leather is quality work! And with Vibram soles too!! This fantastic footwear is truly art! I could literally smell them when I picked the box up off the porch!!

I was looking for a more styled version of a classic combat boot and these boots really fit the bill. They've been breaking in at a surprisingly quick pace which is amazing considering how tall they are. I am very happy with my purchase.

Second pair of Thursday boots. Runs a bit narrow compared to my two year old Vanguard -whisky and hence, had to size up by half. Purchased both sizes before deciding the right size and it was a good move to try them together. Very professional dealing from TB through tip on right size, fast response, fast shipping and easy return process. Bought Dark Olive shade and it is very dark and nice. Shoe tounge could have been stichtched to the sides like my other pair. On the other hand, vibram sole looks more durable compared to the other. Very comfortable straight out of the box and hope this will last for many years.

First I want to say I got these boots as an in between for a nice dress boot and ugly old work boots. I work in AV so I often have to climb in addicts and under buildings to repair or run cables but I really hate wearing work boots and sneakers. What I love about these boots is that their super durable and look awesome. I've already had a chance to take them into the rafters at my church and they worked awesome. I scuffed them a bit but it just adds to the rugged look. Absolutely love these boots and would recommend. Side note: Please pay attention to the sizes. They recommend a half size down. This is accurate. I'm normally a 10 and I got a 9.5, fits perfect.

the boots look great and are built well. they run large though. the return process is so painful that i just decided to keep them. ive gone through about 5 layers of skin and am wheelchair bound due to 2 sprained ankles but man do i look good.
