This game is incredibly silly, having you catch small squishy cats while doing tasks, such as standing on one foot, wiggling your butt, or narrating your turn. It's a fairly quick play if you're playing with an end in sight, but we kept playing even after there was a winner to see how crazy we could get. The CATchables themselves are really nice (think the burritos from Throw Throw Burrito, only rounder and sillier. ) In fact, my one-year-old decided the CATchables are hers, and getting them back has proven to be a challenge. They're soft and squishy and colorful, aka everything she wants. Make sure you have a lot of space while playing this. We had to move outside due to the small size of our living room and our terrible hand/eye coordination. Overall, a really good outside party game that'll get the whole group on their feet and laughing.

Once again, we made our own rules and we love it that way. :) The catchables are so cute and soft. I played with my grandsons who are aged 4 and 6, so naturally we had to alter the rules as doing 5 things before catching the catchable would be quite the challenge. We picked cards and if you did what was on the card as you threw the catchable in the air, then caught it, you got a point. The person with the most points after we went through all the cards won. I just love EK games, I rarely follow the rules with any of the games ha!

It was really easy to teach young kids. Even though it says "8+", younger kids can probably pick it up. There's variety with the cards and a small bit of strategy, but it's super straightforward, which makes it a great game to pick up. Loved it!

The kids absolutely love the soft toys in the package and they're having a lot of fun practicing all the moves the cards are teaching them. They're having a lot of fun even though it is a huge challenge.

My kids absolutely love this game and all the silly things they get to do while playing, but make sure you have room because it can get crazy 😆. It also takes some coordination, and dad didn't enjoy the game as much because he lacks that coordination!

This was shockingly fun for me and my college aged friends. We had a blast playing in our small apartment. Definitely want to try playing outside. I wish it came with more catchables though.

This game is a lot of fun for a variety of ages! The ability to pick your cat and the deck allow you to tailor to your play style and strengths. Some decks are much more verbal while others are more physical. This can make for fun challenges as well as many silly action combos. The adventure of each box having possibly four different cats makes it exciting and urges you to get them all! I look forward to playing it with other players and more cats!!

It's really fun to play and the kids really enjoy the challenges. The only thing I'd mention is that certain cards possibly need clarification when combined with others. Definitely worth it though!

I did not personally play this game, but gave it to 4 teens (aged 17 and 18) to play outside. They gave it a full run through that I watched some of. This review is based on their feedback. They liked the game. It is a good outside activity for 4 people, and you have to do a bunch of silly things with the CATchables - catching them while wiggling, or shimmying, or putting on a funny voice. They found the game easy to pick up, and easy to play. They all said that they laughed while playing, which is what I saw too. Their main criticisms were that the game itself was pretty much the same all the way through. There was no progression, and it was really a lot of doing the same, albeit quite silly, things over and again. It was also, for them, too easy to finish the game quickly, although once someone "won", they carried on playing anyway! They also wanted the box to be a little more substantial, and didn't like the open face of it too much. They did like the actual CATchables themselves, and they all felt the game was well designed. They all agreed that they would play it again, and it seems like a good option to keep in the toy chest, especially if you can play outside. Finally, the majority view was to give the game 3.5 stars, which wasn't an option here. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because that's the direction that the one differing view went. I should add that they have played plenty of Exploding Kittens games that they have loved, and this maybe went in a direction that they weren't expecting, thus the score.

The kids started playing with the cats before I even had a chance to read the rules. They are squishy and silly designs. The game was really quick to learn, but quite challenging. Toss a squishy cat in the air and catch it, while performing midair tasks. The task challenges can add up quickly, and I need to play catch with my kids more often. We are all looking forward to playing again soon.

First off, let me just say that my 8-year-old LOVES this game. He especially loves the CATchables themselves (as do I), and now wants to collect them all. This is a fun game for all ages (8+), and the cards range from super easy to pretty hard. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that the rules are a bit confusing. You start out with the 12 action cards assigned to your particular CATchable and pick 4, then everyone shuffles the remaining cards and draws after playing. Then you draw from the pile and play some of the cards from your hand on other people to make their turn harder. Here’s the thing—it seems like you can play any card from your hand, regardless of if it matches with their CATchable or not. What? So why have them assigned to a cat at all? Or am I missing something completely? I feel like this might be explained in the “how to play” video, except when I scanned the QR code in the instructions, it said “page not found”. :( Maybe once they fix that we can fully understand how to play, but for now, I find it a bit frustrating and confusing. Still fun, tho, and hopefully when the video is up and running I’ll understand it better and have even more fun playing it. :)

A fast paced and crazy game that puts your metal and coordination to the test. The kids had a great time running around and like maniacs trying to do all the actions before catching the cat! Definitely a great game when you have lots of space (and headroom). Perfect for the park, camping, or playing in the yard. Adults beware, drinking makes this game harder! But still fun and enjoyable nonetheless. A bonus is how fun and cute the cats look. They fit great on the desk or shelf as a decoration and at hand stress reliever.
