While it is appealing to have a strong fabric in order to keep the girls from moving excessively, this fabric with its corded texture does not hit the mark. The ribs show through soft fabric tops. Possibly, this piece was intended to be worn alone, that is, with no shirt covering it. (That is how it is pictured, but all bras are pictured similarly.) I would not repurchase this one.
