I've been using this kit for 4 months and really like it. The main problem I have is that the company does not currently offer add-on cams of the same model (E330) for purchase, only the kits with home base. After speaking with support there are other cams that work with the home base 3 but none have the same features of the E330. The decision to sell a kit that can support up to 10 cams but not make those cams available for purchase is baffling to me. I would not have purchased this if I knew I couldn't buy more E330 cams.

Buying this was a HUGE MISTAKE! i've had it for weeks now and can't get the HomeBase to accept anything. I've had cameras for 20 years and never had a problem setting up a camera before. Neighbor across the street has these cameras and talked me into switching for the AI tracking. They might be great, if they would actually work.

Replaced a NAS based system with this E330 Pro for ease of use. With the NAS system I could keep a camera stream up on an iPad indefinitely without issue. With the E330 system the feed will freeze and I will get a “Unable to play live video” error on the screen at various intervals (anywhere between 2 minutes and 30 minutes). After an exhaustive search online, it appears that I am not alone with this issue to which there doesn’t seem to be a solution. Eufy’s online help was useless. I’ve tried changing the resolution of both stream and recording down to 1080p (which completely negates the reasoning for having a 4K system) and moved the HomeBase 3 around to different spots. Neither worked. If you’re not going to have a camera stream up this won’t be a problem but if you’d like to have a screen up with the live feed for most of the day the system is anything but “Professional”.

When you zooming trying to identify the tags around 50 feet far from the camera, you can not identify the tag numbers, even when you try to identify the face through AI looks blurry, and I’ve been trying to activate the alarm when detecting people during night, but nothing sounds, would be a great advantage if the cameras could be set on schedule detection alarm when somebody trespassing the detection area. I hope they can improve it, but I like the Base Storage and the possibility to expand the Hard Drive without paying for Storage, thanks Eufy

But, these cameras do not have a swivel base, so they only move up and down. We did not know this until we had them mounted. Very disappointed as our other Eufy cameras had this feature. So they will not cover the areas needed due to this issue. Screws for mounting are terrible as they are too small and strip immediately, suggest using different screws with a better head. Other then this, they work great but now need additional cameras to cover areas these will not, so check your set before ordering and make sure you get the swivel base.

Pretty quick setup. Picture quality is good. The only issue i had were the screws are to small for mounting. Easy stripped the Philips drive and no screw driver fits good.

Nice system, but with one major drawback. The homebase3 has a 1tb hard drive included, but it is a 2.5" hard drive. I need more than 10 days of 24/7 recording, being on the road a lot. Having major trouble finding a higher storage capacity 2.5" hard drive that is designed for continuous writing of data. Toshiba sells a 4tb hard drive that is 2.5", but it is junk, IMO. Even eufy doesn't recommend using that brand. Typical hard drives made for computers are designed for non-continuous use. SSD's are also designed for intermittent use. So, using a typical HDD or SDD that is designed for computers are destined to fail prematurely if being used for 24/7 recording of cameras. Almost every major hard drive manufacturer makes a specific hard drive for continuous recording of video. For example, Western Digital makes the "purple" hard drive which is specifically designed for that purpose. All of them are 3.5" hard drives. Here comes the issue. Eufy offers no USB port for using remote hard drives. What if I want to store the data in a secure enclosure? I can't because I am forced to use an internal hard drive in the homebase3 which must sit in the open for the WiFi to work with the cameras. It's like a catch 22. The homebase3 offers convenience, but no security for data recording. I pleaded my case up the chain with eufy for adding a USB port for remote data recording, but it has so far fell on deaf ears. They are deciding what is best for the customer instead of listening to the customer as to what is best for them. Hopefully, that will change. Almost every hard drive specifically designed for constant video recording are 3.5" disk drives. Get with the times, eufy! While the 3.5" drives have a higher sound level than the 2.5" drives, the sound level is still very low. 3.5" hard drives use a little more power than the 2.5" hard drives; and the 3.5" hard drives use 12 volts instead of the 5 volts the 2.5" drives use. But, to get around that, all one needs is a USB port on the homebase3 to use a remote 3.5" hard drive that has its own 12 volt power supply. I hope other customers complain to eufy regarding more flexibility for recording data in order to take advantage of the 3.5" hard drives that are specifically designed for 24/7 recording. If it wasn't for this one major drawback, I would give eufy a 5 star rating.

The equipment needed to be returned because it is a wired system and installation cost more than the camera system. Your return protocol is slow, inefficient and lacks good customer service. I fully complied with your piecemeal instructions to return it and still waiting for proper credit to my credit card. Had to file a dispute. However, your equipment is good and I was able to get what I originally wanted —a wireless system— from Bestbuy, got it shipped and installed while waiting for full credit from the returned made that was never used and to which I have provide your website with tracking and invoice. You have long received back with original packing.

I like the clear view and the 24/7 recording feature. So far I have found the cameras are very sensitive when it comes to detecting movement plus I like the cross tracking feature too. Only issue so far were 2 faulty AC adapters that Eufy resolved with no issues

I did my research considering the many companies that sell video surveillance systems. I did not want to deal with batteries or subscriptions. The system I bought is wired and has its own memory for recording. Obviously, Eufy is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the motion sensor/immediate recording works. The software is top-notch. It is easy to use and the AI face recognition is an awesome feature.
