About the Author:
& bull;During her 30 year career as a public school teacher, Marie Hablitzel developed drawing lessons for her second and third grade students. The lessons were integrated with her social studies, geography, science, history, and language arts lessons. Marie and her husband, Bob, raised six children and live in Red Bluff, California.
Kim Stitzer, Marie's daughter, grew up with the lessons and saw a way for other people to enjoy them when her five-year-old daughter began receiving drawing lessons from Marie in postal letters. Kim and her husband, Randy, have two children and live in Poulsbo, Washington.
