I've used this product in the past without an issues. It went on great but at the end of the day, my skin was very irritated with dry patches and scaliness. Not sure if this is a new formula, but I've never had issues with this or any other product.

I purchased an earlier version of this product 2 or 3 years ago, mineral sunscreen day cream 35spf. It was very thick and I didn't care for it. This was promoted as a new product so I had hoped this was improved. Unfortunately this Defense Day Cream is also thick, not quite as much as first one, but I still do not like it. It feels like heavy makeup going on my skin and I'm retired now and don't want to feel "made up" every day. I have used and loved many of Dr Denese's products.....just not this one.

This double-duty cream was a complete surprise to me. Not only does it make my skin feel moist and fresh but it unexpectedly gives my skin a glow of a perfect, slightly gold and perfectly tanned skin..immediately! Amazing. The long-term result is yet to be seen but, as of now...It Is A Winner!

This new formula does not work for me. It doesn't have the same matte finish as the original formula and immediately makes my face shiny. Now that it's summer & humid weather, my face is much more oily than in previous seasons. Please bring back the original version otherwise I'll be looking elsewhere.

My sister was raving about this cream and encouraging me to try it about 10 years ago. I tried but didn't like how dark it looked on my fair skin. Back then I routinely used a foundation and SPF on top of it... until one day when I stayed in my sister's and forgot my beauty bag. I had no choice but to wear this SPF 40 Defense Day Cream. First look in the mirror brought the same reaction - "too dark for my skin". Then, an hour later, I couldn't believe my eyes - my skin looked my natural color and more plump than usual! It also gave me youthful radiance. My face all of the sudden looked fresh and younger! Since then, I use it every morning religiously. I just allow some time to let Melanin do its work - adjust to my skin color, before I head out. Love this cream - it protects my skin and it makes me look younger than 62. What else can I wish for? I love this product but every time I order it, it is a little different. The natural is lighter the dark is darker. Not sure why all the adjustments. Please stop changing it. or if you do, keep one of the originals.
