I have been a revel customer for years. I recently ordered new liquids and the first time I opened my step 3, it was glued shut. THEN, I got the brush out and it was clumpy and didn’t work properly. I’m super disappointed. I feel like they should make it right and send a new set

Step one bottle was sealed shut and couldn’t be opened. Step 2 and 3 were fine. Step one couldn’t be used.

Very good liquids. I only like to use Revel liquids for my dips. They are great and strong. Dips last 2-3 weeks. Only complaint is you MUST wipe down and scrape Steps 1 and 3 when done using them or else the tops will be glued onto the bottles!! So before sealing them til next dip I scrape the neck of the bottles and wipe down with acetone before sealing.

I got new liquids cause my previous bottles were very low and 2 years old. While steps 1 and 2 worked great, step 3 left a lackluster finish. While the manicure is hard and doesn’t chip as usual, it did not self level and its lumpy and doesn’t have that glass like shine the previous Step 3 I had.

The base coat and the activator worked fine, but the finishing topcoat never dried. I followed the instructions to the letter, and even allowed extra drying time before testing it, but it stayed just as wet as it was when I first applied it. I had to remove it and use a Gel topcoat just to seal in the dip powder.

Revel nail dip products are the only brand I have had success with when learning dip nail polish. They don't dry up, or harden. Love this nail line!

I've been doing my nails at home with dip powder for years. In addition to doing my nails at least a couple times I month, I also do family and friends nails monthly so even though I don't do it professionally in a salon, I'm in no way a novice. I use dip on natural nails and gel-x extensions. I was searching for a "cleaner" company to switch to and came across Revel because not only are they cleaner but they are affordable. I ordered a starter kit, plus several colors over the years from their website and from Amazon. I've purchased a total of six liquid sets between the two websites, the EZ application a couple of times to get used to the set and the professional series the other times. The product itself works well. It doesn't get goopy with the powder like other cheap brands I've used. As long as you know tips and tricks and apply properly using thin layers, taking care to clean the edges around your cuticles, you'll get a perfect, long lasting manicure each time. However, the issue I have is with the bottles themselves. So because of this I'm giving the liquids 1 star and will have to search for a different brand to use. Every liquid set I've purchased I've had to throw away the bottles before I'm even half way done with them. This last set only lasted two uses. I'm very careful to clean the brushes between dips and uses. I use pure acetone to clean the brushes after use and use acetone to clean the tops of the bottles off each time to ensure they don't get glued on. However, the "cap" where the brush is attached, comes completely off, rendering the brush useless. This happened the first time I even used the last set. I tried gluing it back on with super glue but it didn't last. As soon as I tried opening it again, it twisted right off. I've also opened bottles with barely any resistance and have had numerous bottles shatter (I didn't think to take any pictures of the broken bottles unfortunately because they went straight into the trash). I'm very particular and keep my space clean, my bottles clean and my hands clean. It's frustrating to purchase bottles and only be able to get a few uses out of them. I don't know if it's quality control or a different issue. Maybe it's a combination of the glue being too strong and the cheapness of the brushes? But EVERY liquid set I've purchased from Revel has either had issues with the caps and brushes or the bottles have broken, so unfortunately I won't be repurchasing until they fix this issue. I'm a huge proponent of glass but maybe they should consider using plastic bottles so this doesn't keep happening.

I exclusively use revels liquids for dipping! I’ve tried others but the smell is so strong and they just don’t work well. I love these and to prolong the life of step 1 and 2 I use an oil around the threads of the bottle after use and cleaning to keep them from getting stuck.

I’ve been using dip powders that you can find at Sally’s for years. I got frustrated with the liquid bottles becoming gummed up and unusable shortly after opening, and decided to try this set paired with Revel’s clear Vivien powder. I’m so impressed!! This process is much quicker, more manageable, and I can tell that the icky gummy cross contamination between liquids isn’t gonna be a problem anymore. Oh and there was WAY less filing involved, how great is that??! I should note that I haven’t quite figured out step 3. I normally use glitter polish on top of my nails, not gel top coats.

I'm hoping these are better than my last set. I've been loyal to revel since 2020. My last set of liquids ended up needing tossing with at least 3/4 still in bottle. The thinner did nothing. I know all the rules to follow. Hoping for better results this time. I love revel for the most part except this issue
