My health is important to me, what I layer on my skin has to be safe and effective. I have tried every natural free aluminum deodorant out there. I workout five days a week (kickboxing and heavy weights), so I needed something that really works. This is the first deodorant that has passed every test in my book. The scent is light and refreshing, it doesn't stain or burn my armpits. My armpits never looked this good or smelled this good.

The actual product is great and lasts all day without having to reapply! I love this scent. Definitely going to be buying another! Unfortunately the plastic component was cracked and broken when I got it though :(

Professional deodorant tester! As a self-proclaimed professional deodorant tester I can say that I was less then hopeful when trying out Salt & Stone. I trail run 45 miles daily and lift weights or do hot yoga 3 to 5 times a week! I have tried every natural deodorant under the sun and some have been pretty good ; most have not! Let's just say this deodorant is the proverbial, "Diamond in the Rough"! I absolutely love it! I have converted both of my daughters, along with my bestie,, to Salt & Stone and non of us are looking back! Do yourself and those around you a favor and try this deodorant!! ❤️🙌

I like the way it covers any BO smell I may have. It’s a unique smell that I had to get used to. I would have given it a five, but it has begun leaking…an oily substance.

I have been making small changes to add more clean products into my routine and had been looking for a good natural deoderant. After seeing a favourite influencer raving about the Black Rose & Oud scent, I decided to take the plunge and try it out. I wanted to try all the scents and wasn't sure if I would like the original or gel formula better so I bought them all. My verdict after using for 3 months is it's a winner! Literally the best product! I am forever sold. I have never used a deoderant that smells so good, all day long, even after a workout. I did find that it didn't 100% stop the sweat from a workout but there was no sweat smell. For day to day use, I don't sweat a ton so it does what I need it to do but better than other deoderant because it smells so good. I prefer the original formula over the gel. It does leave some white marks on dark clothing but no worse than any other deoderant would do. I know its a little more pricey than a drugstore deoderant but its so worth it. You do actually get a good amount of product as well. Scent wise, I thought Bergamont & Hinoki was going to be my favourite based on reading the scent profile but I was wrong. Rating the scents from best to worst (in my opinion): Neroli & Basil, Black Rose & Oud ( this one is pretty much tied with Neroli & Basil but if I could only pick one, Neroli & Basil has a slight edge for me), Bergamot & Hinoki and lastly Santal & Vetiver. I really don't like the Santal scent at all. I'm surprised that most folks rave about it and barely anyone mentions the Neroli one. It's SO fresh. Please make the spray and body wash in this scent. Two of my colleagues have since purchased because I can't stop saying enough good things about this deoderant. If you are on the fence, just buy it. You won't regret it.

I have mixed feelings about Salt Stone. I was a huge fan of the sunscreen line, loved it! When I had used my other natural deodorants I was beyond excited to try saltstone. The marketing campaign had me wanting to buy all of them not just in a mini, but full regular size. I was swooned. Packaging : Pro- looks good/ Cons- non eco friendly plastic container Ingredients : Pro aluminum free. Cons I prefer arrowroot powder to backing soda. Over all With so many lovely ingredients , it is always a downer to see Fragrance listed. TOXIC. Not what I want to be putting into my body. However as a lover of the perfume world, plants and essential oils. I loved the high/ middle/ low note breakdowns. The neroli and Basil, as well as Bergamot and hinoki are nice and why I gave 3 starts. Black Rose and Oud triggered some sort of past life trauma in a hair Salon in 90s. Just not for me. Santal & vetiver was a let down I found the sent to be very weak especially for a fragrance. Seeing as santal and vetiver eos are my favourite to wear. If you used essential oils I would probably be giving 5 stars. I would look past the plastic packaging, and maybe even ignore the lack of no animal testing on the label. I won’t be recommending or repurchasing until one of those 3 things changes for Salt Stone. I leave a simple 3 star review as a do better please.

I really like this deodorant, it's not wet at ALL, like other natural deodorants I've tried. The smell is a bit strong but I don't thinkkk it overpowers my perfume. I love santal, so I may be biased. Being in Marketing, I am also obsessed with Salt + Stone's packaging, marketing, branding, etc. Want to order hand cream next. I wish they had hand soap, wonder if you can use the body wash as hand soap.

I love the natural deodorant. I love the smell, I also love how even after a hard day's work. I don't smell like nasty pits. I smell like the deodorant. Definitely will be trying the other deodorants.

With this fragrance, I don’t need to wear cologne or perfume. It smells so good and it lasts, even through tough fitness workouts. I get asked what scent I’m wearing. I may try another scent of Salt & Stone or I could make this my signature scent. I’m swapping from Native Buttercream & French Vanilla. I have had to reapply that brand. I’ve not had to reapply my Salt & Stone. I LOVE it!

I’ve been on a natural deo journey for about 5 years and have never found one that works (without irritation) until Salt & Stone. I was hesitant to buy because of my failed track history with naturals. This natural deodorant is the first one I’ve ever used every last bit and immediately re-purchased. I can’t recommend it enough. The smell is just the icing on the cake to how good it works. It keeps me dry (miraculously), smelling good and confident throughout the day.
