I don’t hate this, but I didn’t love it either. I bought it as a detox for my boyfriend since I typically do his hair. It does smell amazing, but didn’t do much for his scalp. It doesn’t have a huge impact on his curls, but mine seem to love it. Not wowed, but not terrible. Just kind of in the middle.

The deep scalp detox was not at all what I was expecting. It thought it was going to work like an astringent but it was a gel that was cool and wet. Very moisturizing. My scalp wasn’t so much dirty as it was a little dry and itchy and I use oils daily to keep my scalp moisturized, so a quick detox of all the oils in between wash day is exactly what I need. I actually used this as a leave in and my scalp felt so hydrated that I didnt have to oil after using. I just styled and went.

It took me a while to try the detox and I’m definitely regretting not using it the first moment I got it. This feels so great on my scalp and definitely leaves my head, feeling refreshed and able to breeze, especially after a product heavy a week. My only drawback, which is super minimal considering the ingredients is the smell is a little strong, but considering how good it makes my scalp feel this was super easy for me to look past.
