I ordered a small and I’m pretty sure that this could fit five of me!! It literally takes up more than half of my queen size bed. I want a refund or a smaller size. I paid $54 for this, and I expected it to actually fit me for the event that I bought it for!

The two shirts I got (antique ivory and dark taupe) are wonderfully billowy and very wide (the sizing with fit you!), and I have been happily wearing them around the house prior to the ren faire. I was a little bit disappointed however in how yellow the ivory looks in person. I was hoping more for off-white or parchment colour based on the photos. I also got hit was some expensive duty across the border in Canada, but that may be a sign of the times and doesn’t reflect on French Meadows!

I was looking for an affordable, cotton shirt for a last minute pirate costume and this fit the bill. Fabric is nice and airy but quite sheer and sewing quality is about what I expected for a $50 shirt. My problem was the color. I got antique ivory and based on the product photos, I was expecting an ivory shirt. Unfortunately what I got was closer to the color of good quality butter. I was able to bleach it with a 10:1 bleach bath for 10 minutes to a much softer ivory color so it all worked out in the end. I just wish the product photos better represented the actual color. It’s also possible I got a bad dye lot. This won’t put me off from purchasing in the future though, I would like to get the shirt in black in the future

It’s completely sheer, which I was not expecting, and I am disappointed at that aspect. But the fit is good as a plus size person who usually wears a 2x/3x.

I recently purchased the Darcy Shirt in Antique Ivory and Olive Green, and I couldn’t be more pleased. They are light and comfortable, perfect for balancing coverage and comfort in this heat wave. Furthermore, the billowing of the sleeves makes you look like you spend all day yearning while sprawled out on a fainting couch (or that you are an adventurer who exclusively rolls Nat 20s on your charisma). The loose fit of the torso likewise allows for variation in how feminine or masculine you wish to style the shirt, with the fabric being light enough not to cause awkward bunching when layering or tucking the shirt into other garments. As some other reviews have noted, the elastic around the sleeves is a bit tight — which is necessary for the sleeve shape, of course — but it means that it can be a bit uncomfortable to wear at the elbow. Also, as an additional warning, lighter colors like the Antique Ivory are quite sheer, so you may need to wear an additional layer underneath or other such chest covering if you do not desire such exposure. However, I found the Olive Green shirt opaque enough to wear as is! (Apologies for the poor quality photos)

As a mid-plus size person who seems to fluctuate in weight a lot, I struggle to find shirts that can adapt with me. I've had to say good-bye to a few too many ren faire shirts at this point and I was feeling defeated. This shirt has plenty of arm room and just, room in general. It's lightweight but still sturdy. It can still work for me if I lose or gain some weight in the future. And of course, small business, so it's a win-win-win. Good stuff. My literal only wish is for a shirt like this exactly this but with an even deeper v neck so I can show off some cleavage.
