You can not smell the monomer at all when covered. Its easy to clean and love the heaviness on it so it cant be pushed around. My daughter just broke the cover 😢 by dropping the cover but I still use it I just keep it closed together and even when the cover is broken in half, you still cant smell the monomer.

I absolutely love this dappen dish!! It holds a generous amount of monomer, the width of the dish makes it ideal for wiping/pressing excess liquid from your brush, and the weight is sufficient to hold it in place. Oh yeah, and in pure Kiara Sky fashion, it's beautiful!

I purchased this Dappen dish because it’s beautiful. It turns out that it’s the most functional Dappen dish as well. The well is perfect to hold plenty of monomer and still swipe the side to remove monomer from my brush. Maybe accidentally, the dish almost seals shut when a couple drops of monomer get around the rim. It’s ideal and is a beautiful addition to my nail desk!

Well….I have had it for 9 months and it was great until the bottom part of the lid came off yesterday. I guess all the days I left a tiny bit of monomer in it caused the glue to fall apart. But for the 9 months that I used it, it really did a perfect job keeping the scent of monomer contained. I’m going to buy another one. But this time I will make sure to empty it at the end of each day.
