The throw weighs about 30 pounds it seems. It is soooo soft and luxurious. When under it you feel as if you are part of the throw. Its weight does not translate into it being cumbersome or too warm. It is just the right temperature. I say get one while you can. It comes in a nice canvas, reusable, for storage during the summer bag. I have since purchased one for my daughter and one for my niece for her birthday. When I saw the looks on their faces after getting under mine I knew they wanted one. You will absolutely love it. Now I am fighting with my wife on any given night to see who gets to use it.

First clue, the heft of the box! Wow! What a superthick, high-quality blanket! This is something of the caliber to hand down to future generations. I haven’t tried it yet, as Willow IMMEDIATELY commandeered the blanket as her own. I’ll have to get back to you on how comfortable I find it if she ever relinquish control. I wouldn’t if I was her!😊

You have to feel this blanket to believe it. It is like the teddy-bear fur of 1000 Shiba Inu pelts. I have actually caught my dog, Yoshi, cuddling on this beauty, probably thinking he was cuddling with his litter mates. Actually, now that I think about it, is this blanket made from Shiba pelts? It has got to make you wonder.

This is the FOURTH of the oversized Cuddle Blanket that I’ve bought for my family!! We love them! My teenage son has an oversized Espresso one on his bed. I have a Cream colored one on the back of my couch. One Brandy Cuddle Blanket on our bed and I sent an Espresso one to my daughter!! I will be ordering two more for my elderly parents for Christmas. Thick, heavy, luxuriously soft and what an excellent price!

I purchased this for my wife for her birthday. As some have noted it is quite heavy. So when the wife is misbehaving I just cover her up with it and she cannot escape. Ha ha. It really is quite heavy which is why it is so cozy. Imagine laying out under the stars on a cold winter night sipping wine. (And you can embellish and elaborate any which way your fantasy will allow). It is that kind of cozy. The dogs love it as well.
