I purchased this mattress from someone's baby registry as a gift. This couple had done a great deal of research prior to deciding upon the best mattress to purchase. I am sure this baby will enjoy the most pleasurable sleep on this mattress and the parents will feel their baby is safe!! Unfortunately this is still in the box at my home as the baby is not due to arrive until approximately 09/20/25. I am sure the baby will spend many months in the bassinette which was purchase from Newton as well prior to transitioning to the crib.

Love our Newton mattress! Feels firm and durable. Our original mattress fits in a standard crib, we also use a silk crib sheet to protect our baby’s hair. Recently our 7m old had an upset stomach & threw up in the crib, cleaning up the mesh cover was easy. . 10/10 would recommend!

Why isn’t my review posting? This mattress is breathable, yes, but it’s so so stiff/firm, my baby hates it! Even I wouldn’t be able to sleep on it. There are other more affordable crib mattresses out there that are better.

After using the mattress for only 2 weeks, the mattress started to sink in. It's very inconvenient to return the mattress for a refund. You need approval first then you have to make sure to have the right size box to return the mattress in. Returns were only available at FedEx locations. Wasn't worth the hassle.

We had gotten a hand-me-down crib mattress from my sister and it worked fine at first. Once our baby hit 4 months and was more mobile we noticed there must have been an indent in the mattress because he always ended up smushed against the edge of the crib and it woke him up daily. So we decided to switch to a Newton mattress at 5. 5 months old. First night sleeping on this mattress he slept 11 hours, and slept on his stomach for the first time ever! I am so thankful to Newton Living for the extra sense of comfort I have knowing that my baby is safe sleeping on his stomach. The mattress is way lighter than I expected it to be, which then shocked me when I put some weight on it and it’s firm. It’s very comfortable for my baby and at almost 18lbs he doesn’t sink in at all or give any kind of indent. So far I’m obsessed.

I’ve done so much research when it comes to mattresses and this one takes the cake! As a FTM, it was a priority for me to have a breathable mattress and I’m so grateful I came across this brand.

This mattress not only helps my baby sleep, but it helps my husband and I sleep better as well knowing he’s safe and can breathe just fine. We noticed our baby stayed rolling from back to tummy at 3 months consistently and hasn’t really mastered tummy to back yet. He’s 5 months old now and since we put him in his new mattress from the SNOO, he has quite literally ONLY slept on his tummy as soon as we put him in his crib. So if your baby is strictly s tummy sleeper, I couldn’t recommend this enough! He has been sleeping in his crib now for a little over a month now and he’s been averaging about 10 hours of sleep a night. Totally worth the money.

This mattress is unnecessarily hard. My baby won’t sleep on it. I was misled into thinking the entire mattress was washable when really only the two outer covers are. The inner fibers shed everywhere when you wash the outer ones. Wish I could return it.
