I got this product for free from Kopari to sample in exchange for a review. I already have a set skincare routine that works really well for me, but I wanted to give this a shot since they sent it for free. I substituted this in place of my normal serum at night, and used my regular serum in the mornings as it has vitamin C. I didn't notice a huge difference in my skin, maybe slight evening of my skin tone, but that's it. However, I think it was starting to clog my pores and causing me to break out a little. I started getting random small pimples in my T-zone, and I think it also enhanced the redness around my nose that I am prone to. I had to stop using it after a week because of this, and as soon as I stopped and went back to my normal routine, the breakouts and redness went away. This serum is a little on the thicker side, and has a slightly greasy texture, but somehow doesn't leave you feeling greasy after applying. But due to the texture and my experience with it, I'm thinking maybe it's not good for all skin types. I have combination skin, and can be oily in my T-zone. Perhaps this product might be good for someone with dryer skin. *Note: the photos of me in the black shirt are before, and the grey shirt are after.

kopari's nourishing hydro-lipid barrier serum is the best lightly scented serum i have ever used. not sure the exact scent but it reminds me of freshly cut watermelon. the serum has a nice smooth consistency and applies flawlessly on my face. the nourishing barrier is gentle enough for my eczema prone skin. way to go kopari! if you are looking for a gentle, lightly scented, nourishing serum then this serum is the one for you.
