Description
Category 6 STP represents a leap in low voltage conduction over Cat 5e. Unlike category 5e, our category 6 STP wire is Shielded, and is fitted with a spline to separate the four twisted pairs inside the sheath. The separation along with a doubling of available bandwidth from that of category 5e results in a significantly higher signal-to-noise ratio. In the end, this means much fewer lost data packets and therefore fewer application errors and failures. An investment in category 6 is an investment in higher reliability and future versatility.
