Looks good, goes on smoothly and nicely. I had purchased a shade that looked one shade too light because the one that appeared to be a good match for me was sold out. But actually the lighter shade was great and the one I wanted probably would have been too dark. If you have you have lighter to medium shade brows and worry about the brows looking too dark, maybe choose a shade down!

i'm not super artistic with my brows and i never learned how to 'properly' fill them in or shape them or anything. before this product i'd use tinted brow gel for my daily makeup and whatever eye shadow on a precise brush for more made up looks. just so you understand my lack of experience with eyebrow products. when i started using this product, i got loads and loads of compliments on my brows, i am not kidding. every morning when i'd do my brows, i'd play this stupid game of guessing how many times i'd get complimented on my eyebrows that day and it was always more than i expected! if this is the best brow product out there, i don't know as this is my first. but as a first product, i am beyond pleased i've even purchased it twice. super easy to use and figure out. sometimes it does get a bit weird and blotchy, tho with a bit more thorough spooly-ing it works out.

The spoolie is amazing, I immediately noticed that it grabs the hairs really well. Soft Black was the best shade option for me, it applies lighter than expected and turned out to be a great match. A precise tip would be easier to work with, but this product is still really good.

About Face has the absolute best eyebrow products. I have tried ever brand including Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow palmate, gel and micro pencil and this tops all of them. The thin crayon lets you create the most beautiful brows that look so natural but way better.

I’ve tried so many brow pencils and hated them all. I used to be a pomade person exclusively, because I always was disappointed by the way brow pencils made me look. But the formula for this is NUTS. Natural, but pigmented, easy to blend in with your natural hairs. It lasts all day, doesn’t crumble or smear, and if you mess up it’s very easy to wipe off the skin. OBSESSED. I’ve never repurchased a brow product so many times before, and I can’t imagine wanting to use anything else ever again.

This is the first eyebrow pencil I’ve gotten that actually compliments my appearance. Every other brand and color choice I’ve gotten was always too dark, and never applied smoothly or evenly. Will def buy again when this one runs out!

*I don't have the verified buyer sticker because I deleted their email to write a review.* I bought this Brow Artist pencil back in July so I unfortunately won't be able to return it. Fyi they won't do anything if it's past their 30 day return policy. And no, I'm not trying to cancel them. This may not happen with everybody's products so don't let my review take away from your experience. The pencil wasn't drawing anything so I tried drawing on the back of my hand and the entire lead fell out. It was such a bummer because it was working fine before! This also happened with 2 of my lip liners from af: Cradled and Pink in the Morning. I was sharpening them and the entire lead pulled out.. I really liked their products so it sucks. :') I will not be buying again.

I have dirty strawberry blonde hair, but my eye brows are darker and I usually use a taupe shade on them. I ordered the taupe and it’s a little too dark for me. It blends well, so I’m easily able to make the shade work! But I’ll definitely order the blonde shade next time. This brow pencil is perfect! I love the angle the liner, it glides on so easily and it’s so easy to shape your eyebrows with the pencil. The color is very buildable, so one stroke of it looks lighter but if you go over it a couple times, the pigment really is so great and it is easy to build a darker shade. It stays ALL day! I love this brow pencil and I will forever be purchasing it! As soon as it’s back in stock lol. Halsey hit the mark with this one! Love!

As a pale person with level 6, *very* ash brown hair, who was blonde as a kid, I've always been afraid to go dark with my brow product. I'll usually get "taupe", "cold brew" or "latté" -type colours when shopping for eyebrow.... stuff, even though my hair is always tinted some variation of dark magenta/eggplant/vibrant rose. My comfort zone is either taupe, or deep violet eye shadow for my brows. I've been noticing that the former hasn't been looking too excellent, lately, though. Even the coolest taupes end up pulling warm, and just look....off. I decided to take the plunge and try this deep, cool brown, and I'm so incredibly stoked I did. I love the shape of the pencil, the malleability of the product, the packaging (tiny-fat bright green spoolie? Yes, please!). This is almost perfect! While the formula is a smidge on the waxy side, it probably kind of has to be, in order to be able to reshape the tip to a point by twisting it back into the tube and scribbling a bit onto a makeup pallette or something. I'm going to try to pick up the product with a tiny brush, and see if I can get a bit more precision, and use any product wasted by sharpening in the above fashion. Pretty sure that if I hit the aforementioned metal pallette with a blow-dryer for a second or two, a stiff angled brush, or a tiny line brush could work..... I'd LOVE to see this product in vibrant colours! Can you imagine how rad a deep aubergine, bright copper, flaming red, or royal blue would look!?! Deep, rich, vibrant brow pigment for us rainbow-tressed folks. I could see some badass rainbow brows popping up next June for Pride; how cool would that look!?! Either the entire spectrum going across both brows, or each arch its own rainbow!! Yeah, we could achieve something like that with the zillions of rainbow eyeshadow palettes we all have, or use bright gel liners, but I think bright, colourful, dedicated brow products would be amazing. To have insanely vibrant pigmentation in this formula would be the complete, total tits. I feel like it could be a great addition to the AF94 line, perhaps? Something to ponder, Halsey!
