Baby Registry Overload: 🤯 Where do you even start?!⁉️ 📹 Part 1: Brestfeeding/Bottle Feeding Essentials! 🔗: You know where to look! 🗒️ for new moms: - Bottles ~ There are so many, find ones you like! - Bottles Brushes ~ If you’re getting narrow neck bottles I’d highly recommend finding a bottle brush that doesn’t have a big sponge on the end, they aren’t fun to try to get in/out. If you’re on a budget you can also use a regular sponge/washcloth but it can be a bit difficult to scrub, especially a narrow mouth bottle sometimes! - Burp Rags ~ There are tons of variety in burp rags and they all do the same thing, if you are really on a budget wash cloths you already have or baby washcloths work just fine, they just aren’t quite as large! - Pumps ~ I highly recommend that everybody has a manual pump! In case of emergencies or places they won’t have power or their pump could die. Using a manual in the car, and on the go was way easier than hauling my giant heavy electric pump everywhere! Electric pumps are also nice, but since this is a budget friendly-bare minimum list that’s why I didn’t include it! - Flange Inserts ~ Did you know the average size flange made and sold with any pump is the same diameter used to milk a cow? My guess is you don’t have the same size *teat* so a flange insert is a must for comfort and output! - Extra Valves ~ These are on the necessary list because you’re SOL without a working vale, been there, done that, my valve must have ripped while washing and I didn’t notice. I had to DoorDash an entire new manual pump to my workplace because they don’t sell replacement valves in any store. That also delayed my pump session and I was hurting by the time it arrived. So do yourself a favor and have even just 1 or 2 extras along! - Breastmilk Bags ~ There are so many different options and they all do the same thing pretty well. I chose the Lansinoh ones because I could pump directly into the bags from my manual pump if I wanted to. That isn’t the easiest because you don’t have much leverage, but there were times where I produced more than I had bottle space and that was a convenient way to solve that problem! Did I miss anything? Let me know in the comments! Everybody had different experiences and because I was primarily breastfeeding/pumping this list probably leans more heavily to that!
