·Apply the prepared lightening mixture 1 inch away from the scalp using the enclosed brush.

·Make sure the mixture is evenly distributed on hair.

·Leave enough for root application later.

·Check every 5 to 10 minutes to see hair color and condition to prevent over-processing.

·After the lengths have been lightened to the desired level, apply the remaining mixture onto the root area.

·Gently smooth mixture into roots and check every 5 to 10 minutes.

·Do not leave it on hair for more than 60 minutes.
