I was very curious about the Black Sesame flavor and I was not disappointed. I can subtly taste the sesame which adds a nice flavor to my protein shakes! I generally mix my shakes with fruits and milk to create a very tasty meal replacement. What I love about Boba Tea Protein is that it blends very smoothly and doesn't have the gritty texture that some other protein powder brands have.

Black sesame is one of my all time favorite flavors, so when I saw that Boba Tea Protein was releasing this flavor, I knew I had to buy it. Unfortunately, it is a bit cloyingly sweet if you mix it with any amount of water. You basically need to mix it only with milk (I personally like soymilk), and make sure that it has ice or has been left to chill (I like to stick it in the freezer for 10 minutes or so). I'm planning to see if I can find any other uses for it to flavor things, like baking with it, and/or actually add boba to help balance out the flavor.

The black sesame has a great nutty, savory flavor and is not too sweet. Love the texture . Wished it did not have gum additives but otherwise it is one of our favorites amongst oolong milk tea, jasmine milk tea, and matcha mushroom. Goes well with milk for protein shakes and makes an amazing high protein ice cream !

I’ve been obsessed with black sesame flavor recently and purchased this flavor in hopes it can be my new daily treat. I initially tried it was water, didn’t mind it because the flavor but wished it had a thicker consistency. I read a review saying to try it with soy, so I tried it and it was perfect! I look forward to drinking this everyday and I even bought 2 more bags just in case it sells out.

The taste was not what I expected. The sweetener is too strong; I can barely taste the black sesame. I even added more pure black sesame powder (that I got from 99 ranch) and even that didn’t help.

I had high hopes for this flavor, but the sweetness in it is overwhelming. I’m not sure how to pinpoint it, unclear if it is the sweetener that is used, but I really can’t taste any of the black sesame. I even added my own black sesame powder, which I’ve had to do for the fit bites protein, black, sesame powder, but the sweetness in this even masks pure black sesame powder. Regrettably, I should not have ordered three bags of this.

It tastes similar to peanut butter. I did half soy milk and half water and it was perfect. Great flavor.

Tastes very warm and nutty, a delicious sesame flavor, and if you are unfamiliar with this flavor, it is almost peanut buttery in nature (great alternative if you or lived ones have a nut allergy) As always, blends easy in water or milk. Truly another solid product, these proteins are my breakfast and post workout go to. They are simply the best!
