I have a few BK brushes, and I love them. Not this one. It doesn’t apply smooth at all, and it’s only for contouring. Its awkward to use. Just a brush I would never use. It seems kinda small, and it’s not very soft!

I wanted to share an honest experience in case it helps others who are considering these brushes. I originally purchased the Vol. 2 Set at the end of November 2025, and I genuinely loved it. The design, quality, and performance of the brushes—especially the N18—really stood out to me. As someone who works as a franchise business consultant, I also have a deep appreciation for what Nikki has built as a brand and the reputation she’s created. Because of how much I liked the N18 from the set, I decided to reorder it as a standalone brush so I could rotate between colors throughout the week. Unfortunately, the brush I received was noticeably different. It was smaller, less full in the fan, and lacked the same density. Side-by-side, they are clearly not the same—both visually and in how they feel during use. I also ordered the N17, and it doesn’t appear to match the size or shape of what’s shown on Nikki’s YouTube channel, which added to the confusion. I’m not sure if Nikki is still directly involved in the production process, but since her name is behind the brand, I do feel this is important feedback for her to be aware of. The standalone brushes seem to be a different product than what comes in the set, which is unexpected and honestly disappointing. That said, I may still keep the N18 simply because it’s a unique brush and I do want to continue supporting Nikki and her growth. My hope in sharing this is to help others make a more informed decision. It’s possible the brushes in the full set differ from those sold individually—but if that’s the case, it would be helpful for customers to know upfront.

I’m so happy BK Beauty offered this as a single! I’ve been using it for a week & it has made such a huge difference in applying my cream and powder bronzer. I apply my stick cream bronzer & lightly buff, then my Hourglass Volume 1 through all 3 shades and lights buff it in and done! Best Brush Ever!
